Can't completely remember what I said but I was pretty upset at the time as I had accidentally read Mancio saying really nasty things about me behind my back to someone he knows I don't like and that led to my falling out with him as my anger built over that day. His "crime" wasn't remotely serious, it was the fact he blatantly lied to me after he was caught saying he hadn't done it at all that astonished me, given I knew full well that he had committed the same offence several times already during our travels and had already admitted that. Whatever, I'm over it and that isn't why I don't visit here often any more - it is my rage at the moaners that makes me stay away.

Re the FFP, I am hopeful it can be beaten but not confident. I have never claimed to be better qualified to discuss it, I have just made myself well informed on the issue and am reasonably qualified to discuss it. TTFN.

That seems like a much more interesting story than the FFP shite, tell us this one Uncle Harold.

Well, we still don't know the truth but at least we have a couple of testimonies.

The only way to determine who's right is for someone to accompany Mancio on several train rides and walks through neighbourhoods with a lot of muslims in them.
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

This really is a very splendid thread and possibly the most entertaining since "the bad Mafia" thread. Actually given the actors involved it should not take long before the Cosa Nostra get drawn into this and the whole things ends up as a conspiracy to kidnap Mancini in the toilets with the Benson and Hedges. Awesome work.

We only need two things to settle this once and for all......

I know, I know, why the hole in the ground?

Given the relative size of the Italian wordsmith its clear to see the vertically challenged aged philosopher would have too big a target to aim at, this evens it out a little.

It's also an almost perfectly-dimensioned grave for Soccs, too. Two birds, one stone.

I think he's much more likely to fall off a cliff, drift out to sea and be picked up by a trawler myself. Wouldn't be the first time.

Life is too short for stupid and football not that important in the scheme of things to get upset about. Take care, maybe see you elsewhere.

Wow. Arrogant beyond belief.
