we've been playing at about 50% all season pal and we're still unbeaten. We've done a lot of scraping this year already. Anyway, well done Celtic.

unbeaten!!! we are out of the league cup & virtualy out of the champs league with 2 loses already how are we unbeaten?

I don't think it's that hard to figure out that he means that we're unbeaten in the league, despite having some problems. And he's right. Despite our short comings in these two tournaments we have shown incredible form in the league, considering the fact that we can be so much better.

Calm down, ease of the exclamation mark.

15 competitive games thus far this season with only 6 wins hardly incredible imo

Celtic have shown, like Chelsea did last season, how a well organised team can fuck Barca up.

They would not have life so easy in the Premier League as they do in their own, where most teams play exactly the right way to lose to them. This is an example of the challenge Guardiola would face if he came to our league & didn't adapt; teams will line up like Celtic did & use set pieces. A team of dwarves with no Messi, will not cut it in Britain.

I've heard a few say there was a handball by Mario yet there was no foul given, and how could he help it if he's being dragged about?

Some may not choose to believe these things but they are right there. OK, a couple of incidents a game going either way I can understand but when it's a constant one-way street, then no, this isn't coincidence.

chelsea were gifted two goals , united three tonight. i mean van winkels goal is just bad goalkeeping. Again the goalie gifted Chelsea two times. Celtic earned their goals.

Until 5 or so minutes from the end I was going to say that all the English teams seem to be struggling, us more so because of the opponents. I seen Chelsea's two and heard United's, both teams seemed to get very lucky/rub of the green. Especially the Rags, Braga were killing them until the lights-out chapter.

The rest is history.

I would argue that is exactly our problem in Europe. We have been awful for all bar one game in the league this year and are still un beaten. We come up against decent sides in Europe with good players that can hurt you and get found out. From what I have seen in the CL this year both Dortmund and Real Madrid would walk the Premiership.

Celtic's performances in the CL really show what bullshit excuse 'we are new to the CL' is. Celtic had not played in the CL for four years and had very few player who had never played in the CL or top international football before this campaign. They have performed well above their league level and will deservedly go onto the last 16 with a squad that cost about the same amount of money as our weekly wage bill.

Sorry. Wrong choice of words. Results have been incredible considering we have problems. The form is good but not incredible. Or would you say we are second by accident?

I would say weve been pretty poor by last yrs standard especially when we should be kicking on from last season
But hey i will take where we are and playin poor. My opinion is the we miss NDJ in midfield.

I will admit that perhaps his character is missed in the dressing room. He seemed a popular character and a pretty decent bloke.

But on the field he was seriously limited and certainly not the player he is made out to be in some quarters.

Last season he wasn't the first choice so it's not just about him moving on. The character side is where we are lacking at the moment although I do think someone will fill his shoes, they always do.

I think you are right there. I deffo think we are missing his positive influence off and on the pitch. I didn't think there would even be a transission after we sold him, where we would have to create a new type of dynamic for the team, but it seems we definitely are. Perhaps this season's under-estimation from Mancini?
