People slagging off United as if they're shit need to get a grip really. People slagging off Villa too. Villa were always going to wilt if put under that kind of pressure cos they're just nowhere near as good as United...United are a good team who win games through their attitude just as much as through their natural ability. That's a credit to them. They get at teams with pace and determination, and we often just faff about when it matters passing it across our own area. Drives me mad. We need to be as ruthless as they often are. It doesn't matter if you're shit for 75% of a game if you win it does it? And they usually do win.

Though obviously the referee often helps them. Ha...today though it wasn't the case. Just determination and hard work. We should take note.

In winning nothing, last season for Man United was a real rarity.

Its good that this season is shaping up as a three horse race.

But, at least until Taggart hangs up his wine glass, they'll always be there or thereabouts.

I thought Da Gayer played well. He looks a lot stronger than last year and was impressive on crosses.

It was disappointing to see the scummers slip out of there with three points, but today proved again that they're eminently beatable if you have a go.

There very beatable this season and leaking goals just like we are, but were still unbeaten....The reassuring thing for me is city have not hit top form yet so hopefully push on and get stronger.

They didn't "get at us" in the home derby last year, or anyone at all for that matter in the month following the away derby. Maybe the most craven, frightened performances I've ever seen from a defending champion.

They are not unflappable, it's just that they know that (unlike Europe) 90% of PL teams don't have the bottle to put them to the sword. If we tonk them again watch them crawl back into their shell.

Absolutely agree , bang on. Did ANY reporter bang a microphone under the Mexican super subs nose and say do you enjoy being a sub after his match winning performance unlike they relentlessly did to take the wind out of Edin,s match winning brace versus the Albion ? did they fuck ! The rag media mafia instantly turned City,s success into a controversial headline story .

You've got to laugh at Arsenal! By the time FFP kicks in they'll be 'well placed' in the Europa Cup places with both City and Chelsea turning a healthy profit. By all accounts Fulham were a little unlucky not to come away with all 3 points yesterday by attacking them on their own patch. Take note, Mancini....

I watched the game last night and I wanted to point out three things.
1) the penalty decision at the end was Horrible and it would not have been given at the other end. So justice done as Schwarzer saved it.
And he does have a habit of saving his teams arse late in the games doesn't he? (Twat! I still hold grudge against him for saving the Fowler peno)
2) Arsenal are a mess at the back if you have a go at them - BOBBY TAKE NOTE!
3) related to point 2 - Makes me cringe we dropped points at home against them. They were there for taking

thanks for Good Sense, Mates,

and that - obviously - because they loves so much MCFC that They feel compelled to wipe out the clueless, bring back the Club to Its pre Christmas 2009 Doom and start the rollercaster again, when/if Pep will have experienced what's the meaning of going at Stoke/Everton/Fat Sam's places, playing ticky-tack WITHOUT the only Third Man in the whole global History of the Game who can win games by his own (Lionel Messi, put amongst Humans by the Gods of Footy, after Edson Arantes do Nascimento and Diego Armando Maradona . n.o.e.)

2. "ACID QUEEN"
3. "never once fails to turn a football thread into a himseelf thread"
4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

Aye I know they're not unflappable, and they aren't the best they've ever been, but they're still a good team. Woeful at the back mind, but then again the same goes for us and Chelsea at the moment. Feels like whoever scores the most this season will win the league. They do play on their reputation though and it wins them games. Teams are scared of them. We need to make teams scared of us.

Is it just me that hopes Terry is really hurt?

I see Liverpool conceded from a corner.

Does this mean the pundits will be banging on about Zonal v Traditional marking like they do when we concede?
