also, as much as I proposed Edin in my last 3 personal starting lineups, it's fair to say that we have two different Edin Dzeko, so far this season.

Silva was superb, my god we have missed him. Good second half, we deserved the win.

I wish Mancini would have balls enough to teach em how to grow as men, though.
the wages analogy also apply to him. first and foremost.

Few questions then.

Was it a pen? x 2.
Was that linesman as much of a ridiculous cheating/inept cunt as he seemed?.

Bottled it in the box but that ball for edin was absolute magic. I sit just behind that goal and on that side swell and still didn't see that as an option in the build up. His vision is amazing.

Yes x2

Not particularly. He did get a few right. About 60-40 in his favour, I'd say.

certain penalty for the Gallas handball but the ref and linesman were unsighted - what other one were you meaning? Ref didn't seem to want to give us much either - though he booked Ade for almost breaking Zaba's nose.

Just waiting for the train back home.

My thoughts on today are:

- we played really well and pushed Spurs back and attacked them. In the first half we were trying, but the play was getting broken up by the bent ref

- the ref literally gave them EVERYTHING!! I've said it before and I'll say it again; its only a matter of time before a fan runs on to the pitch and attacks a referee. And when he does it I'll laugh my cock off!

- Kolarov was magnificent as usual.

- We've missed Dave! Hopefully back to his best now.

- Kompany didn't put a foot wrong for me, which is a first for this season.

- the yids are a horrible set of cretins. They didn't open their mouths after that Dzeko goal.

- sometimes I love City!

Don't bother Mancio. It's clear everyone on the board likes Edin. We all want him to do well, and when he comes on as a sub he is superb. Unfortunately, he's not always as good when he starts. We're not picking on him, that's just a fact.

Palus - you cannot wonder why people get annoyed with you when you make comments like this after an excellent win. I don't understand why you still post on here when you're clearly not wanted. Please kindly fuck off and talk on a forum where Dzeko is the only topic of conversation.

right, but the answer is the same of the Ajax game.
with all our class and skill we should be stronger than that anti-City bents.
to jump first at set pieces and to score each every time that one of our top class forwards get in front the goal, will help VERY VERY MUCH. I promise You.
that's supposed to be the difference from WBA/Necastle Utd and Real Madrid/Barca/Bayern and all other top Teams. I purpousedly missed out another Team that I hate writing

To those at the game, I imagine you thought the officials were terrible, but the fact is they got most things right.

Unfortunately for us, they got the handball by Gallas completely wrong. It was a definite penalty. The foul on Zab wasn't so clearcut, but could have been an indirect free kick for obstruction.

The offside calls by the linesmen were correct and in the first half we were acting like idiots - just giving away needless free kicks with stupid fouls (giving Spurs their only chance of scoring). We only had ourselves to blame. Fortunately, at half time the players seemed to calm down and we played our normal game in the second half and took control.

I'm not sure why there were 5 minutes of added time, although Friedel had been wasting time ever since they went 1-0 up.

Overall, I thought the officials got most things correct, but I'm sure the ref will be disappointed by getting the handball penalty wrong.

Aaah that was Huddlestone I think - replay showed he was watching Zabs rather than the ball and he raised his arm to him as well - so that should have been a penalty too.

That's how I feel, although I hated the ref and the linesmen during the game.

I thought Aguero took the ball for the free-kick they scored from and the replay agreed. A few wrong decisions in tottenham's favour in a short space of time was, let's say, an unfortunate sequence of events.

Maicon very effective , Silva fresh and majestic Yaya now in a more free role and Edin the super sub yet again and lastly Zabba magnificent again , what a player !

YET AGAIN. I HAD SERIOUS CONFRONTATION WITH FOLKS QUESTIONING BOB MAN MANAGEMENT.
NOW IT'S TIME TO RECONSIDER IT.
TACTICS ARE ALMOST ALWAYS SPOT ON, THE REASON WHY I CALL MYSELF M4e IS BECAUSE i CONSIDER HIM A FOOTBALL GENIUS.

BUT PLAYERS UNDER-PERFORM MORE OFTEN THAN NOT. HE IS IN CHARGE, ALSO OF IT. THAT WHAT MAKES A MANAGER AT A WORLD DOMINANT CLUB. I DON'T EVEN REMOTELY WANT A MOURINHO LIKE MANAGER, WHO DRAINS HEARTS AND SOULF FROM EVERYONE IN TWO SEASONS, BUT THIS IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH, AS IT STANDS SO FAR THIS SEASON, TOO MANY, SINGLE PERFORMANCES BELOW PAR, TOO OFTEN.

SORRY FOR CAPS LOCK.

Cause and effect or just coincidence?

The plastic seats just hose down. The cushioned ones would be a bit more of a problem.
