Sorry Mancio but I can't be arsed reading all that.
As usual, when You run short of wind-up flair.... ;)
No problem Pal,
not saying that it may not be a pain in the arse, tho (reading it, I mean).
It was for me as well in writing for about a couple of hours.
But not as much pain as I feel anytime I read that kind of stuff from a brother in logic, a smart mind of the finest order and a Knight of Blue-hood.
When I won't have to read anymore reports from the cloister of boards meeting, or presumed intentions from Soriano and Berguistein, sold for proved facts from the voice of a righteously Much Respected Leader of the Blues, it will have achieved my sole point.
Because people have opinions that are different to yours, doesn't mean that they are not serious.
I've no idea what you're going on about as regards mine. I don't know what you think my opinion actually is but just to put you straight; I do not wish for or expect Mancini to be sacked. I expect he will improve on the current situation & get us into the top two, & that will be enough to keep Sheikh Mansour & Khaldoon on his side, even if the new guys advise against it. In fact I think we will win the league, thus making his position stronger.
If however he makes a mess of it & the team cannot improve, I think he's absolutely fucked. I don't think the contract matters because someone smart, like Khaldoon, (with influence from Soriano who has known he was taking over since last season) will have put clauses in it.
Before Tricky came, I would have said he'll get another season whatever happens, but having read up on Tricky, he is not afraid to make big decisions & worships the ground Pep walks on. If Bob goes to shit, Tricky will advise that we take Guardiola & possibly even other managers should that bid fail.
If we lose to Utd, you will see how quickly the situation can change for Bob. Most of the posts on here & elsewhere will be from people who want him sacked. I won't be one of them.
As for Marwood, I posted a piece by Mike Rigg, showing exactly how the system worked for transfers etc (which I knew anyway) and many of the people involved in setting up our transfer deals were moved on or resigned (obviously to make way for the new guys). Marwood was treading water with no CEO, & several of his main employees who do the groundwork & had previously been involved in transfer aquisitions such as Hazard, gone, & restrictions on the transfer budget. You could ask whether that was a good plan or not but it certainly wasn't Marwood's plan.
The slating he got is grossly unfair imo. I don't give a shit about Marwood even so, but it's the main thing I dislike about how Mancini operates & I think we'll see more of it in the future.
Those are my honest opinions & I will continue to believe them. If you want to discuss the actual subjects then fine, if I'm wrong, I'm wrong but I'm not reading through 10 paragraphs of stuff questioning whether I am genuine or not & have no interest in having to defend my right to voice those opinions.
Ted I value your opinions, 1 pint of lager mate, I start Mancini songs in East Lev 2, I still think he must be thinking I could go no matter what . Lets be realistic, Peps best mate is in the position to make it rain.
