Postby paulh » Sun Nov 11, 2012 6:57 pm

Here we go again ESPN prem highlights on Iphone saying city were out of game most of it!!!!!!! are they having a laugh we were by far the better team and played the best 20 mins weve had this season with a spuds goal against the run of play

Is this a pointer as to how MOTD will portray our game? makes me laugh

Don't worry about it, mate. Just think how much they must be hurting, and how much the prospect of us winning the league again this season is going to keep them awake nights.

Strange enough, I've just heard Look NW or Granada Reports and they reported something similar, as if Spurs were the better team and we scraped a win.

All the way through the game they were harping on about our troubles. Don't they listen to their own stories, the bosses are happy with Mancini and Vinnie told them there were no problems behind the scenes. Platt had a good go too so why do they keep saying it?

Only one reason for it in my eyes.

getting the feeling that its a matter of spurs gifted it to us other then us coming back to en vs a team finishing in top 4 last season

Just checked Sky's stats - we had 5 shots on target to 2; 8 shots off to 4; 8 corners to 2, we were caught offside 8 times as oppose to none; had 62% possession and 82% pass completion compared to 66%. They only thing they had more of was fouls given for them.

Yep, we clearly got battered.

Listening to some of the press reports I thought that I'd seen the wrong game. Luckily, those nice people at Sky confirmed I was right by the way of their stats. Not one offside for them, just shows what sort of game they were playing.

Phew!!!

Talkshite actually said in their summary that we played really well after falling a goal behind - so maybe the entire world isn't against us - although interestingly that comment was mentioned during the commentary on the match when we lost our shape and our heads during a small part of the first half after going 1-0 down "against the run of play"

The Red Wanking Media are perfectly aware that only one person makes light, doom and gloom at the Bridge and he does not give a flying shit of what fans feel or think appropriate.
On the contrary Our Owner made a point - from day one - to respect and pay much attention to the Blues Community.

That's where the difference in behaviour comes from: given City history of the last four decades, they are still reliant on the possibility to influence City fate by undermining our camp.
and that is also why I get so fed up when Smart, Brilliant Minds among us keep buying their shite and spread it all around our camp.

2. "ACID QUEEN"
3. "never once fails to turn a football thread into a himseelf thread"
4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

City, even playing in 1st gear 1st half, were miles better than Spurs. 2nd half, we were light years ahead. If it wasn't for the stupid goal & we had scored the first, today would have been our easiest & biggest win of the season. Everyone else we have played, have caused us more problems than Spurs did.

And had Oliver given the two penalties that were penalties, we'd have had 4.

Seeing this is a media refeflection thread I've got to say, MotD actually debated our game last night and it came across really well.

Just saying.
