Other games this weekend

Postby Moonchesteri » Sat Nov 17, 2012 12:53 pm

We begin with the north london derby. so who do we want to win here?
I'm not too bothered as I don't really see either threatening City at the end of the season but maybe a draw would be fine as both would drop points and that could help smaller teams challenge them for top 4 place?

where is Scott Parker btw, is he injured?

Adebayor!!!

What's with him and his former teams...?

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

And the fact that he didn't kiss the badge.

And now he's off. Great. Thanks Adebayor. Why can't you do anything properly?

And Mertesacker scores.

If I was an Arsenal fan, I'd think of this as poetic justice. Nothing more, nothing less.

Arsene Wenger does a pretty good impression of "the cat in the hat" these days.

In my opinion strikers shouldn't be making sliding challenges anyway. They're just so clumsy and there's no really need for it as in most of cases there's 9 others behind the ball anyway.
exciting game so far, looking forward to more goals here. to both ends

Adebayor should get 3 assists for the Arse goals after that nonsense.

head on sliding challenges are getting purged from the game as it is. You have to get it 100% right or you are in trouble. What he did was totally reckless and unnecessary in every way.

I hope arsenal go on to punch 7 or more past Lloris, who I hope fails miserably at tott. Got a french mate who will not stop talking about him and i'd love to rub it in if he ends up a total failure.

Oh Adebayor. Hahah. I bet AVB regrets playing him now. Sounds like Cazorla ripped Spurs apart. Poor Lloris btw..he'll never get a game now

Football's no hockey Phips. Lloris can't be blamed for any of the goals.

He could be if he made errors. I didnt watch the match so I dunno. But another loss for Lloris and he conceded 5 goals. Tottenham had been playing well until 2 weeks ago and now Lloris comes in and they get smashed. Not sayin it's his fault but AVB will make the connection.
