The OS has said he's moved in the opposite direction. Nothing about a loan.
Dzeko has been crying on
Twatter apparently about him leaving so he's definitely gone full time.

Thank you, thank you.

Phew. I can stop stripping down the gazebo & tell the caterers it's back on.

Nastasic signs as Savic leaves

Manchester City have announced the signing of teenage Serbia defender Matija Nastasic from Fiorentina for an undisclosed fee.

The 19-year-old joins the Barclays Premier League champions in a deal which also sees Montenegro international Stefan Savic moving in the opposite direction on a year long loan.

Nastasic is the fourth player to join City on a hectic final day of the summer transfer window.

Maicon, Scott Sinclair and Richard Wright have also signed for the champions and a deal for Benfica's Javi Garcia is reportedly close to fruition as well.

Nastasic will arrive as a straight swap for Savic, who has struggled to make an impression at the Etihad Stadium since his £6million signing from Partizan Belgrade last year.

He joins captain Vincent Kompany, England international Joleon Lescott and Kolo Toure among manager Roberto Mancini's central defensive options.

When speaking about his interest in the player, Mancini said: "Nastasic will be one of the top players for a long time."

Savic, 21, made 11 appearances for the club last season but did not look comfortable in his first taste of the English game.

Here you go mate.

Cheers. I was working when it went through & just realised to my horror that I'd been celebrating without actually reading the details.

Something about him refusing the loan because he wants to fight for his place in the starting 11 at City.

I have just found out that Stefan's father committed suicide while Stefan played for City. It happened on April 8th 2011.

But your point still stands. Suicide is such a horrible thing because it affects the living almost as much as it does the one who's killed him/herself and for a long time at that (it could anyway). I think it's safe to say that it probably effected his mentality during last season, although it's unsure in which way.
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."
