He's been on the pitch for that long, I wouldn't call it a full 90 minutes though.

yup - agreed.

I thought he worked hard for the whole game, to be honest.

i'd "work hard" for 90 minutes every now and again, but you wouldn't pay £20 odd million for me, i assure you. the lad isn't good enough. there are far bettter strikers, with far fewer problems than him. get one of them in i say.

Mario put plenty of work in tonight.

Fair enough, just seen his goal again and as it comes out from the goalie Mario is second favourite to get to it - but he did.

On another note the radio was on about Wigan deserving more - look, if you don't take your chances and concede at your end you deserve nothing!

Wigan had one chance; Kone's header when Vinny went for a shit/fell asleep. They created nothing else. Tbf, they tried harder to score than Chelsea did, but the whole game was just a case of whether City would get their shit together; it was always going to be our game if we did.

Mario had just one foul, a perfect game from him.
wigan took the game to city, then mancini makes baffling subs which turn out perfect...

flooding the midfield, milner right, mista kola left, mario upfront. italian job. it works for mario.

Frustrating until the 70th minute. The Kun/Kola subbing looked very weird but in the end it all worked out.

That was a real worry.

I'm certain Garcia is a quality player but the Premier League is different & so far he looks like he's in the wrong place.

I don't like to slag players but considering from where he comes from, different pace of the leagues or not, I'm not sure if the comparison with Stefan would make a fair service to poor Savic.
Today Garcia has been pure shite in all aspects of his footy. Even more embarrassing when considering that he seemed to put some decent effort in it.
anyway, I am sure You are well and truely happy, cause these are the wins of the Champions, as You always and rightly say.
So I am: 3 very good points in the bag, 5th clean sheets out of last 6 league game. certainly a little lack of scoring galore is not what can trouble City, nowadays

Can't believe Barry being slagged by anyone. With a half-arsed Yaya and the ever laughable Garcia (get rid asap), he did remarkably well. Very consistent. Nastisic, though, what a find!

If we're to win the league, we will have to get back our attacking mojo. If we can get through the Christmas period in decent shape, then hopefully we will kick on again in the New Year. I just hope we don't qualify for the Europa.

Honestly, I would like to be sat next to You, put a brotherly arm around Your neck and gently, suavely ask You:
"What's wrong with You, Lad?"
"Are You sure You haven't been supporting City during more dire times, as You actually did? So why are You so desperate to underline any little thing, not even going wrong, just temporary going wrong?"
"Do You seriously consider Your attitude of any benefit?"

In all humility, unless You can provide a certificate of mental illness, I seriously struggle to get the point of Your posts, all over the last three years...

Fuck, that's harsh. I didn't see the game but I'd gather those who played for Wigan gave 100%. Balo did score and City scored twice. Our away record, that you call VERY poor, is actually one that is unbeaten and only topped by United, a team who will walk into any ground and beat them before a whistle is blown (never-mind the old boys network).

As for shithouse, it seems you were ready for a 'Rant-Out' regarding Mancini but it never came to pass. 2-0, away from home. Mario scores, City score, we win. Our record is VERY good, we still haven't lost a game and Mancini is the manager who is sat in a nice seat moving into the 2nd third of the season.

Your whole statement is VERY VERY strange mate and I don't quite understand where you are coming from. I can only summise that it's a Mario/Mancini thing, not your support for City.

100% spot on.
muy beloved Gaz Baz...
Anyone giving a well deserved mention to unlucky Jimmy Jaws and his wonderfull screamer, btw?
Who was recently wondering of last time that City scored a screamer from outside?
Hope it wont be as bad as it seemed by his body language. Milner is a very precious asset!

Good luck, Jimmy

They didn't make a late appearance (or one of them didn't) due to the injury to Milner, no idea why Balo was picked ahead of them, other than Bob rotating. Might have seen something in training that made him want Balo/Aguero to start.
