That's the guy - I always remember him as have a conehead though for some reason. Was quite highly thought of towards the end of his career (maybe earlier too, but he wasn't on my radar for all that long).

He certainly was a very good ref, particularly excelling on being often next to the core of the game, more often then not.

What seems strange to me is that everything hasdone a complete flip. It's wierd to watch games without keeping an eye on the ref or waiting for the media barrage afterwards.
