That would really surprise me. Fringe players they may be but to lose those 2 even from the bench would seem crazy.

on a serious note I am sure that he has actually had a senior debut for QPR already....in a cup game. Although the report I read at the time seemed to think it was done as a bit of a gimmick and as a way of making him a record breaker and trying to give them a way of emotionally attaching him to the club.

Same article went on to say that there was virtually nil chance of him remaining at QPR. Crazily....on the basis of the wealth the club now has.....they don't even have an academy at the club. (they, instead, operate a "centre of excellence" which I think were the precursors to the academy system but which are now, consequently, seen as being (or just are) second tier in terms of the technical, professional and personal development available to kids who attend).

They seemed to think it was 99% certain he would not re-sign at QPR and would be off.

Although I seem to remember that he was an Arsenal or Spurs fan and they seemed to think one of those clubs would be the preferred destination. That said, I think it is entirely feasible that our track record of developing young (British) players could definitely get us to a point where we could bag him.

I agree with regards to Petrov Doug...but I reckon it would be a cracking move for Weiss

They are playing great football at the moment and he will get lots of pitch time...it's a no brainer IMO

I doubt Weiss will be going there. Routledge is doing well in that position this season.

Can't have done. He's still 14. QPR are in Championship (therefore not played in FA Cup yet this season), and League Cup rules are that nobody under 15 can play.

If he does, he will become the youngest first-teamer in British football history, breaking the record of Barnsley's Reuben Noble-Lazarus who made his debut at 15 years and 45 days last season.

8. Sterling has already attracted interest from a number of Premier League clubs. As well as Manchester City; Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Fulham have all scouted the youngster.

9. He may already have his sights on joining one of Europe's top clubs - he and his agent were VIP guests at Anfield last month when Liverpool took on Manchester United.

10. Steve Gallen is confident QPR can keep hold of their prized asset. He said: "I'm not one bit bothered about the other clubs. QPR are a big club and at no stage has he said he wants to go.

I wonder if thats supposed to help us somehow?? I guess so... Either way I hear things about this lad and its good we getting em young. It's also good we helping teams out I guess and offloading a few excess players in the process it's all win-win.

Bob's stats on the young lad and various comments and comparisons by coaches have sold him to me. Garry go get him, young raw upcoming talent is what we need, yes various lads in the acadamy show promise but if we got to go out there and bring them in so be it. If we capture the young lad above the Sky Big Four then it also shows how far we have come.

That is slightly different, he was a 14 year old playing in a 20 year olds body.
