Certainly strong enough to beat them but only if they play very well.Currently most of those players are not playing well at all so let's hope the occasion lifts them to perform.

It's easily enough to beat them as long as we turn up and actually shoot instead of trying to pass it in. Both teams will be up for it, we really need to keep it together at the back (which I think we will) because I've got a feeling the scum might come out the blocks like men possessed.

so far this season rags have only scored first in 6 out of 15 games, we get an early goal and we win comfy.

The more I think about it the more Milner should start instead of nasri

You are an absolute star for quoting that. I could watch it over, and over, and over, and over .......... again.

6-1, awesome. 5-1, the dogs.

Cheers mate ;-)

You know you want to! I watched it with the sound down as the mrs was watching some telly guff. Still blurted out Ali Mann's (?) 'And it may have won the derby for them.....already!', and 'City have their three goal lead back'. Mint. MAde her watch Hinchliffe's goal and she even said 'that was a good assist, wow! never expected it to be a header'. It's a gift that just keeps on giving.

I was no more than a sympathizer at time, but that 5-1 shall always last as the most gorgeous and glorious derby in my lifetime memory.

Just a little below comes the demolition and I find this cut truly amazing:

3. "never once fails to turn a football thread into a himseelf thread"
4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

Remember it like it was yesterday - "That's just marvellous stuff!!". Can anybody put up Bob Brightwell's exocet at the theatre of shite from the same season. Oh, and Beefy I or any right-minded blue will never complain about seeing the demolition derby EVER!! ;) The only complaint I have is seeing that cunt Hughes score.

I have no idea who to pick for this personally, so will just go with whatever Bob decides, as nobody is anywhere near playing full tilt, but I recon we will probably need two goals, as Van Persie will probably score; that is how football tends to work.

I will hate that, so be delighted to be wrong.

On the upside, I expect this is the game where our players will go up a gear & the rest of the season, before & after ceases to count, so the rags have got a big problem next week imo.

one things for sure i wouldnt play nasri, hes been pants and dzeko benched for for

I ould go with this side. Do we know if Clichy is likely to be fit though - he has been injured for a couple of weeks now. If he isn't then Zabaleta would have to play left back and Maicon right back.

Nervous about the game already, hope for a crackling atmosphere like the one in April and a terrific City performance and result

What annoys me most about all this rag bullshit from their players plus the Face, & their mates in the media is IT DOESN'T FUCKING WORK.

It's the same tired old shite they've been spouting for fucking years.

WE'VE HEARD IT ALL BEFORE YOU STUPID CUNTS, WE BEAT YOU IN THE CUP SEMI, THEN 6-1, THEN YOU DIDN'T EVEN HAVE A FUCKING SHOT AT OUR PLACE, HOW IS THIS SHIT GOING TO CHANGE ANYTHING YOU FUCKING MORONS ?

GROW UP FFS! IT'S NOT CLEVER, IT'S NOT MIND GAMES, IT'S NOT INTIMIDATING, IT'S THE FACT THAT YOU ARE SO FUCKING PATHETIC THAT IS SO ANNOYING. IT'S LIKE WATCHING A DICKHEAD TRYING TO PARK A CAR & HAVING TO DO IT OVER AND OVER AND YOU WANT TO GO AND TELL THEM: JUST STOP IT AND GO AWAY FFS, IT'S HOPELESS.

Wow that was great to watch. Hadn't seen that match (well before the current day satellite blanket coverage of English football). We can do the same on Sunday. The Rags defence is "cartoonish" so I don't see why not. I see a hat trick by one of the lads (Kun ?).

Rags have been struggling aerially at the back, which makes you wonder if Bob will go for Dzeko or Mario.

I think he will start with Mario and keep Edin for the 2nd half. I would go with that but it's no use second guessing Mancini. He always manages to surprise. I wouldn't mind starting with both with Tevez behind them (if Silva is unfit to start).
