Watching Arsenal-WBA. It's incredible just how poor Gervinho's ball control is for a professional footballer. His movement is brilliant but it's like the ball's a block of ice.

What's more incredible is how they've been fucking gifted 2 absolutely horseshit penalties in one match.

The second was a blatant foul. Are you referring to the foul from The Ox to win the ball in the first place?

West Brom have been disappointing. Arsenal are fragile and eminently beatable, and they should've been hounding them from the first whilstle.

Why? He scored a few great goals for us. He just doesn't do it very often.

That's what I was going to ask mate, why was the 2nd goal given?

The 1st was a double back flip with pike and if the 2nd was similar it goes to show that the league will step-in to ensure the favoured teams (most watched) rise to the top.

No, the actual challenge itself was rubbish. The Ox just skinned Brunt and got hacked. I was watching on mute coz my missus was watching TV so I wasn't aware play had stopped, but Ox did seem to commit a foul to win the ball.

Cheers mate, I'll have a look later. Thomo's face said it all for the first penalty, his nose even started to turn up.

How pathetic does that sound, 'One Di Matteo', when you're winning?

Also, Arsenal very lucky to get either of those penalties. Double bubble was Brom not being awarded one for the handball.

Ermmmm, just confirms to me that certain teams will always rise to the top, whether they deserve it or not.

Bobby always seemed to play him on the right, MO'N seems to play him on the right - he seemed to score more for us. Seems to me Bobby saw him right.

He does seemto be getting more confidence with Sunderlandbut that's probably down to playing time.

It was shocking given how poorly Sunderland were playing and it seemingly came out of nowhere.
And its also shocking because Sunderland are garbage and have 1 (maybe 2) wins this season and
AJ has been especially poor and underwhelming for them.

Dortmund lost at home this weekend while Bayern won and they are 14 points ahead. It seems they have given up on the Bundesliga and are focusing solely on the Champions League. Maybe we should do they same if we want to win the CL next season. It worked for Chelsea

It's quite notable how teams in the CL, who get difficult groups, seem to lose their way in the domestic league. I think all 3 of our oppo's are well down their domestic leagues and it showed with Chelsea last season how priorities differ when it comes to the CL.

Ummm.....they had a bullshit red card in the 36th that tied it 1-1 and then played with 10 men for the remaining hour.
And, Subotic and Kiehl are injured. I don't believe they've given up on shit. Had a tough time with their defense and injuries this season and Bayern are flying with some unreal results.

What was Schwarzer doing there? He does realise that he can save the ball with his hands and doesn't have to use his face, right? Deflection or not, that was bizarre. He was on his line.
