I think we hold the aces. Ferguson has only got one option and that is to throw caution to the winds. If he tries to defend they cant. So there will be space for a change which we will exploit.Feel calm and confident about this one.

MORE PRE DERBY BOLLOX FROM BACON
Alex Ferguson: Manchester City get too many penalties at home
Sir Alex Ferguson has questioned the number of penalties rivals Manchester City are given at home.
Since the start of the 2010-11 season City have been awarded 20 Premier League spot-kicks at home to Manchester United's 13.
However, last season United were given nine penalties at Old Trafford - one more than their neighbours.
"If we got that number of penalty kicks there'd be an inquiry in the House of Commons," the United boss said.

Premier League home penalties since 2010-2011
•Manchester City: 20
•Manchester United: 13
•Chelsea: 10
•Fulham: 9
•Newcastle United: 9
(Stats courtesy of Opta)

"There'd be a protest."
Ferguson was speaking ahead of Sunday's Manchester derby at the Etihad Stadium, with his side three points ahead in first place.
Opta stats show that City have been awarded four penalties at home so far this Premier League season, scoring three. United have missed both of the two they have won at Old Trafford.
In the 2010-2011 Premier League season City were given six more home penalties than United, with a total of eight.
Ferguson believes the fight for this year's title is already a two-horse race between the Manchester clubs.
"It would be difficult to think the two of us would collapse and allow another team to get in so I think it will be between the two of us," he said.
"We have that gap over Chelsea and Arsenal and Tottenham. City are our biggest threat and we're their biggest threat.
"Derby games are notorious for surprises. City haven't lost for two years in it. It's going to be a hard game for us but we are capable of beating anyone."
City boss Roberto Mancini said United were favourites for the title, echoing last season's run-in when he repeatedly claimed the title race was "finished" with United on top until late April.
He said: "They are used to playing these games in the title race for 20 years. For this reason they have a small advantage.
"They can lose [this weekend's game] because they have three points more. We have three points less and we can't lose.
"They are better than us at this moment."

You know they are worried sick when the gooby twat of a brother say's fuck all this week. He knows whats coming, and silence is his only offering. They have a good front 4 no midfield and a defence which is piss poor forget the keeper whoever they stick in is below average at best. City 3 Rags 0.

I think he will start with Mario and keep Edin for the 2nd half. I would go with that but it's no use second guessing Mancini. He always manages to surprise. I wouldn't mind starting with both with Tevez behind them (if Silva is unfit to start).

Not sure if it might come as great surprise to Shit Face, but I too think the CF choice will be that.
Just heard a nice handled presser part 1 and, if all comes accorded to fair hopes, I'd bet something not much different from:
------------------------ Joe
Pablo (Maicon) - Vinnie - Matjia - Gael (Pablo)
---------------- Jimmy ----- Gareth
Carlos -------------- YaYa --------------- David
---------------------- Mario
As Bob implied there, risking a setback of Milner might result a huge blow ahead of a very crowded month, but certaily would define our control of the core park at best.

Btw, back to the presser: many were already wondering if Our Own Sir John was actually Gary James's shade, but having listened to that cheeky smile at saying "If not mistaken SAF took 7 years to win the EPL and 14 (mistaken) to win the Chumps.... so I still have 12..." I made myself convinced that Sir is at least Bobby's Ghost Writer... ;)
Anyone?

2. "ACID QUEEN"
3. "never once fails to turn a football thread into a himseelf thread"
4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

In Roger Ailes/Donnie Drumpf's words: "don't know it for a fact, but many people say so..."
there must be some truth, then!

Need the spine of the team to have their best game of the season. So whoever plays up front be on their game. I will be happy if we do a Norwich I.e. win ugly.

Darth Fuckface.

Would love to see a midfield of Barry, Milner, Yaya, but from Doug's reports don't think Milner will be ready, though Silva will be. So, Nasri, or Tevez back and Balo up front. Pretty confident, tbh, 3-1.
City have soul. United do not.

Just watching ssn build up today.

It was our stikers compared to their strikers but for some reason they had the price tags added in.

Rvp 24m
Rooney 27m
Mushy pea 7m
Wellbeck academy

Tevez 47m?!!
Aguero 37m
Dzeko 27m
Balo 24m

They never cease to amaze me.

Many can complian but this should be seen from start to finish. A real taste of what it means.

Without a shadow of a doubt the best game I ever saw at Maine Road, it was buzzing in the North Stand that day.

Only had the pleasure of seeing half a dozen derbies but that was simply amazing. Fantastic day!!!

A couple of things stand out for me as i work with rag season ticket holders ( decent mancunians but having difficultly living with City being champions lol) about the derby tomorrow . They openly admit there rag midfield is piss poor as is the rag defence so purple nose will be happy with a draw or try and sneek a goal if city fuck up or become impatient . They also reckon if Scholes , Giggs and Ferdinand play we city will steam roller them ! Interesting thoughts indeedy!

Personally i am frightened to death of the ref Martin Atkinson , this man could easily put in a performance for the rags just like Clattenburg did at Stamford Bridge .
Not really here

There was a wink in there ;-)

In modern day football I reckon that game would have ended up 1-0 to the Rags with all our goals being rules out for one thing or t'other.

Goal one - Take the freekick again, 2 touches.
Goal two - High studs.
Goal three - Push on Pallister.
Goal four - Handball and making the United player fallover.
Goal five - Just because they fucking could.

Dreams really do come true.
