But generally what he does, he does well. Even today I am not convivnced they were mistakes which need the vitriol hes getting. They were very fine calls. The free kick from Van Persie was perfectly placed and he still would have saved it if it wasn't for Nasris nick.

And for Rooneys goal, he was going towards the direction Rooney was trying to send it, then he gets a freak miskick.

The first goal was scuffed at 2 mph , he had time for a coffee and a fuckign bagel and still had time to get to it.
The third goal - the build up was a joke ,a goalie would have screamed for Clichy to pass it to him as there was noone near hart..he didnt.
Im not blaming the cunt for the 3rd goal per se..Im blaming him for allowing it to get to that free kick.

Re the first. Vassell and Fowler have both scored goals like this. The scuff just throws you out. You expect the ball to be hit cleanly and come at you at a million miles and hour. The scuff puts you on your heels and you can't move.

Watch a replay and see how a keeper who is always on his toes, is suddenly on his heels. It's a natural reaction.

There was no deflection for the 1st goal though. He thought it wasnt going out of play and just stayed rooted to the spot.
The third did have a deflection but if you look at the range and angles where the free kick was taken, he should of had it all covered IMO
