I've just worked a night shift and am currently on a train from the smoke to Manchester, with no sleep, to make sure I can use my seasoncard at the Derby. I won't get home until after eight tonight after being away for over 24 hours, just so I can support the team I've supported for nearly 40 years.
Does that make me a better supporter than anyone else? No, of course not, just as living within spitting distance of a Manchester postcode doesn't either.
