if I recall that was sweet fuck all?
I do seem to recall that the lad who did had a terrible life for a few weeks though

So it was! It will be interesting to see if the punishment remains consistent.

He did, and I didn't find it at all amusing - honest! Maybe the idiot who ran onto the pitch today will get the same sort of treatment.

I hate the scum as much as the next man but should we really be lowering ourselves to this? We're only 6 points behind and they're shite

'He damaged his own eye"??! This is a spoof, right? If it's a serious suggestion, when it gets around that City supporters could even suggest such a thing we'll look utterly stupid as well as violent (you "wish it had been a brick"?) and bitter. Manchester City lost a football match. Grow up.

Wobblygob is claiming he was hit by a coin, in fact he even knows what type of coin it was!

He seems to be less upset about the incident than a lot of City fans are.

Have you watched the video?

If he was directly in front of the united fans, and the alleged coin presumably hit him from the front, it must have come from the united end!?

No one should be docked points for. His today, but I am n favour of regulations of coking points for this, no one would throw a coin if. It meant the club would be docked points.

having watched it a few times in glorious HD -

YES a coin hit him HOWEVER.... I don't think it hit him where he was cut -
what it DOES look like is he got hit by the coin, didn't really notice, then cuts his eye with his thumbnail whilst he was wafting his shirt
its a shame that some wally threw a coin at him and hit and has robbed us of some funny karmic justice

If you are wound up by an opposition player celebrating in front of you then you have a small penis.

Sticks and stones and all that.

The Arsenal fans who sang all that about Ade a few years ago got their just deserts when he ran the full length to celebrate in front of them. And they went mad about it claiming they were offended by some bloke sliding on their knees, yet weren't by the racist abuse they were giving him.

I'm all for giving the opposition some abuse to try and put them off their game. But if they score, why wouldn't you expect some back. And why would you think the natural reaction was to throw something at them or invade the pitch?

He's less upset because his team took all 3 points and opened up a 6 point lead ffs. What do you expect from him - he's too thick to make any sort of intelligent comment condoning such behaviour.

I can't believe for a second that even somone as thick as plug would have cut himself deliberately. Our players chose not to celebrate in front of the rags fans in the 6-1 at OT and to me the lack of recognition of their fans said more about us as a team than anything else. The fact that plug did celebrate in front of the city fans says more about him than us and it's a shame someone was daft enough to rise to the prick
