Celebrating A Win

Postby Beefymcfc » Sun Dec 09, 2012 7:57 pm

What is it with teams drawing or beating us? Anybody note the reaction of the Rag players today, you'd think they'd just won the league.

Are we seen as that much of a scalp, especially for the 'Greatest' club in modern football?

We are the best team in English football. Everyone, including the scum, know that we will most likely win the league.

They are just a small club with nothing to play for but the derby.

Was about to post that. Every rag reaction i've heard so far was about our home record, so yeah, the frustration is high. The same reaction had Arsenal when the equalised. It looked like they won the league here.

That record of ours was something everyone was targeting, so maybe that was the reaction. Still can forget those "wise" words: "Chelsea win against Man City, that is a win for the league".

The Knee slides in front of the East Stand were yellows for rug head and the diving bastard. How nobody wants to talk about the taunting of the fans is the red media. I hope we can get at it week in week out now as they are shat.

I don't think so mate. 2 nowt down and then had them on the ropes, only to lose by a sucker punch. Back then it was all hope, now it's a reality we can win a game.

The 'Old' days will always come back to haunt us but I'm glad it's more of a 'Skeleton in the Closet' rather than what we have been used to.

Their reaction clearly shows what a huge scalp we are. Taggart's comments prior to the game about how it would be his greatest victory (due to our 2 year unbeaten home record) if they won merely confirms this

We are the champions you know? We are the biggest scalp in English football.

The rags at our pub celebrated as hard as we did winning the league last season. We hurt them bad last season. Real bad.

Chelsea, Liverpool and now the Rags celebrating as if they'd just won a cup, it is beyond anything I can compehend.

Were Arsenal the same, I don't seem to remember?
