His dad sits in front of me and is a top lad. He was as pissed off as anyone when he saw him run on.

I'm just gutted he didnt twat Wio and make it worthwhile.

Is anybody going to mention the shower that was GMP marching him threw the reds, while they were throwing punches and spitting on him? Fuck off GMP you rag cunts. You nearly started a riot.

The second lad that ran on, was a red, in the east stand, that went over to the red fans. Why wasnt he marched through our fans?

Well said to the OP.

Win with pride and lose with dignity.

Our owner will be disgusted at some of the scenes at the end of the game and so was I, absolutely gutted with the result but we move on.

no but it's ridiculous if(when) they make a meal out of this one when it has happened for years at the swamp and nothing has been said.
didn't Garrido get hit by a coin too in his last away derby?

Not at all, but maybe some of their fans should remember this and climb down from their high horses.

I dont think there is any doubt something hit him but I am with you on this one. I think it would have to be a one in a million shot for a City fan to hit him from there. It was slap band in the centre of the United end.

Take the emotion and the rivalry out of the game and we have nothing !

No one should run on the pitch ...... it does happen everywhere , always has done always will do , hundreds of stewards there to deal with it , need to be a tad quicker tho !

FFS purple nose and bobby manc were at it last april !!!!!

Couldn't see the 'scenes' from where I was but it was clear something above the norm had happened.

When that bloke attacked Bellamy, he was a sad wanker, as were all the people making excuses for him.

When a so called City fan chucks a coin at, or attacks a member of the oppo, he or she is also a sad wanker, as are any people who make excuses for it.

I was and I do and today was all about a game of football and the bragging rights that go with it. Or is it ok to go onto a pitch, throw things at people and make racist comments if it's a local derby?

I was there as well, and as for knowing what today was all about, that's just plain insulting. And the fucking knee slide was right in front of me (110 level 1). You still don't lob coins and go on and try and attack players, that's going down to their level. Ban 'em

I had a 'knee slide' from Rooney right in front of me first half, & gave him the usiual abuse, but I don't give a flying fuck about it, or any other such incidents, so long as our players are allowed to do the same.

That's football.

I wouldn't worry or focus on the dickheads, after all it takes one to know one. I'm now fully depressed.
But still love City, night blues.

No way would anyone in their right mind want to tone things down, but, just because the rags are a shower of twats is no excuse. City fans have the reputation for being a tough bunch - but rarely start any trouble. Mind you, we jump in quick enough if someone else starts it.

Take it from an old git who was there at the time. Sometimes me and my old buddies will have a pint and get all misty-eyed about the 70s and 80s. But, really the violence wasn't much fun and could have killed football off. Let's not go back there.
