Well here's another one; Mario, 1st half, did pretty much everything I have been asking of a big striker to do in a partnership & Aguero was fucking clueless, greedy & generally played at a sub standard level whilst alongside, thus made Mario look a twat, for giving him the ball & expecting a similar response. This won't be the general opinion of media, football experts etc, because Mario tried a backheel 2nd half that didn't come off & therefore is just a cunt, but I don't fucking care, I want to be on record saying: I recon he did well.
Tevez came on & was better than both, & also had the advantage that Aguero actually wanted to try to pass to him as soon as possible.
I don't give a fuck whether Balotelli lasts through the transfer window, in fact I think it's probably best he doesn't & Ican understand kneejerk reactions from fans after this disappointment, however, I find Mancini's public slagging of the bloke, utterly disrepuatable & I think, once again, that it is n example of Mancini hanging a colleague to protect his own arse.
Great manager, to a point. Utter self centered, Machiavellian, arsehole of a bloke.
Balotelli is not being helped by him, he needs to get away from him.

I honestly see him ending up in Russia or something. A complete waste of a wonderful talent.

Agree.
It's becoming clear that reputations carry more weight than reality and prominent players are typecast by the media, (And we know who they favour) and the bias flows through into games, and specifically the way incidents are either highlighted or ignored.
Today I also thought Mario was far superior to Aguero in the time he was on. But, as Mario is a bad guy anything positive he does is ignored & any negatives are eagerly seized upon. Aguero can be utterly dogshit and will still receive media praise because it fits in with the narrative, he`s a good guy..... I`m amazed Mancini cant see this with Mario & use him accordingly.
Referees are subject to this the same way everyone else is & the big teams (rags, real etc) simply tailor their play to the referee. This was really confirmed in CL v Real when they just chucked themselves about after going a man down. I dont think we are wise to this in Europe as yet. I thought Mario did well when he came on v Dortmund, but the treatment he was subjected to by the ref (serbian) was far from balanced
I'm sad for Mario as I think he`ll be forced out & I really dont know where he can go and start with a clean slate, but his card seems very clearly marked. I hoped Mancini was playing some form of long game with him, but i'm really not sure what that is & on todays evidence it would seem that this 'media image' is affecting his own judgement.

Mario was using his brain & Aguero's took 2 seconds later to function. By that time, on the rare occasion that Aguero actually realised Mario was on the pitch, he was by then offside or marked.
When Tevez comes on, it's all so much simpler for Serge; give it to Tevez.
