So I thought, maybe it's just me (I'm not his biggest fan). Now I find Bobby's had a go about him and the reports I've read said he wasn't up to much. What's the consensus of opinion here?

He wasnt up to much thats for sure. For a young lad with the potential to become a world great he doesnt go oht of his way to make a point. No doubt he has some talent but its seems so very wasteful!

Really bizarre, a couple of people said they thought that was his best performance since joining us. I thought I must have been watching another game. I'm with Feed The Goat on this one.

I also thought it was the sharpest I've ever seen him; too smart for his strike partner by far.

I think he looked up for it,maybe sharp is a reasonable word, but somehow he doesn't often do the right thing at the right time.An example would be immediately before their first goal.He got the ball in our half but had a free run at them with Aguero running inside right and Silva plus another running to his left. A pass to either was possible with the better opportunity being left as Silva had another City man with him and only one marker. Aguero was more marked.

He chose Aguero but didn't get the pass quite right ( some might say Aguero's control was poor but I reckon it was the pass). They broke away and AY headed on to RVP.AY then lost Zaba latched onto RVP's chest pass and he lost Vinnie,AY passed it on the run to shrek who took it well in his stride and miss hit the shot that scored. Who knows what would have happened if he had gone left not right.

Overall I thought Mario did ok.That was at the time but on rewatching I feel now that he kept making poor choices or having key poor touches. That one where Clichy did well to pull the ball back was a dreadful attempt from somebody supposedly so gifted.Talk about panicking and snatching at a chance. It needed a touch to control it but not Mario as he went for the impossible.

So it was far from his worst game but the difference when Tevez came on was amazing and there is no way I can put that down to Aguero playing only with Carlos. The pundits went on and have done before that Mario is a waste of time and we were like 10 men out there till he went off.I know some will say there is an agenda and I know that's maybe a bit OTT but are they really totally wrong. These are experienced top ex players who know a thing or two and don't all have an axe to grind.

Stuck record I know but its blindingly obvious. Two decisions for Mancini to make, both wrong. Start with Ballo. Just stubborn insanity with 48,000 people disagreeing.Bring Kolo on instead of Lescott. Kolo played well but this Rag team cant defend a cross. Lescott attacks a cross better than anyone. Oh dear, though hes left footed and were talking the right centreback. He might? He might fecking what, Mancini? Then watch Nastasic go walk about for the Rag second goal. Why because he's 19 and no one was talking to him. Lescott can boss the England team but not good enough for City?Apart from that the lads did well. The last goal was one of those things where every bit of chance went the Rags way. No good railing at that, its out of control. To me it boils down to simple football common sense versus over elaborate stubborn half cock bollocks time and time again. And I'm sick of it.And I dont understand why. The bloke is intelligent. Does he not understand Tevez hates Ferguson and would have run on hot coals today to get a result. Is it really so difficult to see?

Mate, Kolo went in because in Bobby's eyes, he is Vinnie's replacement. Lesco is on the left side, with Nastasic. He couldn't and wouldn"t risk two left foot center backs on the same time on the pitch.

Football is a cruel sport. Cruel I tell you. But what do I care, I'm drunk so the world is a beautiful place right now.

Not that wrong then.

We take nothing from that game. Mancini made the wrong choice up front, Komapny picked up an injury, and we lost a game we really couldnt afford to, right at the death, to them, again.

We never got hold of Valencia all day, and every time he got the ball he had 15 yards of space to run in too. This was plainly obvious after 25 minutes but wasnt rectified; Rooney, even though we had 2 anchor midfielders, was allowed too much freedom playing in the hole, and the second goal especially was a shocker.

Too many big players, again, not doing it for us - yes, that would be you Sergio, Ya Ya, Nasri, Balotelli, Silva (first half). As for the "wall" at the end - what a fookin laugh. Hearts like the Italian infantry waving their military flag, ie a white cross on a white background. Add to that the fact that Clichy should have put the f*****g ball in the stand, but didnt, and despite havingh our faces slapped many times in injury time by that team of shitbags, we never learn.

Concentrate on the FA Cup. To have a sniff at retaining the prem we need to string 8 or 9 wins together on the spin, and that looks as likely as January passing without a "De Rossi to City" or "City in Crisis" article in the tabs.

Bollocks.

Doomy, no-one has given you credit for the Svensational comment. When Ric (correctly) called Silva offside when he was in the clear I gave him an absolute GOBFUL!!

We were clearly the better team. End of.
