Can we all accept that Tevez is far and away the best forward we have had since Franny Lee? It's his name plus 1 other that should be first on every team sheet. Kun has been wank this season, but he's not alone, great though he can be. The entire match changed when Carlitos came on. Mancini not starting him is crass. Might cost him his job.

Unfortunately, I agree & what's worse is that I think Tevez has lost a yard; I dont think he is the goal machine that Hughes & Mancini early career, could rely on to bail them out. But my earlier claims that Aguero would become a 'super Tevez' are wide of the mark, I fear.

Serge is now more like the player he was two years ago at Athletico; supremely talented but flawed & a bit headless & hit & miss. He will rise again, no doubt at all, but like it or not, Tevez is a bit special, even if he's on the wane as a striker.

My patience for him has run dry as well. I just don't see the benefit of him.

Irrespective of what Tevez did, or didn't, you know what you get from him. With Balotelli... Fuck, he doesn't even know himself.

I think we'd get the best out of Balo if we made him the lone frontman and structured our play around him.

Unfortunately, that isn't going to happen here.

Make no mistake, he is going to be an absolute star at his next club.

I'm merely suggesting that Mario's 'image' has been wholly exaggerated by the media. You are just proving my point as you think the bullets above are actually true.

I'll ignore the offensive comment for now

Sorry pal, but you watch a blue tinted game.

He has the worst talent to hype ratio of any player who has ever played for city.

He is generally fucking abysmal - and that has nothing to do with today's performance

Another poor performance from him today! Bobby Manc gives him all the chances to show his best. As time goes by Mario fails game after game because he plays football only for himself! I'm so gutted as an Italian much more as a Citizen!

I disagree again, with respect, whilst agreeing that i view with blue tints, as do you, as we should all do on this site, barring our honorable guests.
I'm of the view that Mario needs to go & probably in Jan, but I dont think he is given anywhere near the same latitude others are. (&I would include Dzeko & Aguero in that list) Solely as he`s viewed negatively before he does anything.

For me Mario needs to start a few games where he`s a number 9, where he played for Italy against Germany & be judged on that basis. He ha very rarely played that position for us & i believe he could excel, without changing personnel.

& then judge

Mario Bal otelli is the best skillful striker on this squad. not everyone plays great everygame.. why cant he just have a bad game and not get trolled by the media and rumours constantly linking him with a move away? if Dzeko or Tevez or anyone else play a bad game they dont get in trouble with Mancini or the media.

When was the last time Balotelli had a good game for City?
