Hope the club bans him for life. Same goes for any of the idiots throwing things. Rather have empty seats than idiot 'fans' like that.

When you look at the kid that has ran on, He was lucky Joe got inbetween them. Ferdinand would have wasted him.

Honestly, the minute a fan crosses the white line then what happens to them is fair game. Same if a player goes into the crowd. I recall a Burnley player kicking the shit out of one of his own fans that ran on to attach Robbie Savage when he was at Blackburn.

Was Joe protecting the fan from ferdinand or ferdinand from the fan?

I saw it as he was protecting ferdinand from the fan but camelface has tweeted "Respect to Joe Hart for protecting that idiot who ran on!! Love the banter between fans but there is a point when it goes too far...calm it!"

AH HAHAHAHA protecting the fan?

Why is there somebody on here saying Wio would have wasted him? Wio shat himself until Hart stood in between. A millionaire fake gangster from Peckham couldnt harm a fly. I hate the cunt so much. Zaba should get involved with these twats.

That was just after the goal and Joe should had been more concerned that they scored in front of him, instead of going to "save" Wio. Go cheer the fellas up, go shout at the wall you put in front of you, not go and defend one of the most despicable humans in football.

yep whilst i agree hart should have lined up at least 4 in his wall,' to spout the kind of shit about Harts following actions is beyond comprehension. I have a stong disliking for plug (Wio) but what Joe did was right whichever way you look sat it. Just because you are pissed doesn't mean you should lose perspective of whats right or wrong - boy!

There are stewards mate, that is their job. Look :

Do you see any United player "saving" Bellers? And keep in mind that was in the middle of the field. So Van De Sar, Wio and other player could had blocked that fan.

What i am trying to say is that Joey did somehow good, God knows what could had happen if that fan started a riot with Wio. We could had been punished by playing without fans or other stuff, suspension and so on. However, when you just receive the final nail in the coffin and you have still a thew minutes to go, i wouldn"t had done that. I would had let the stewards handle Wio and i would had been more concerned of us restarting the game.

Morally, Joey did good, but for me that wasen't the reaction i was expecting. There are some knobheads in football that deserve what is coming to them. Maybe that was the case today.

The pitch is where footballers work. Yes, Rio is a twat of the worst kind, but you still stay off the pitch. You invade my place of work and abuse me, you're out of order. Last May City supporters were dancing and hugging on the pitch in scenes of greater joy than I have known at a football match in 55 years of watching or playing, today's disgrace tarnishes that day a bit.

I couldn't give a shit about united players - period. Just becasue they didn't step in for Bellars is no reason for a City player to do what they consider to be right. We need to worry about us and not them in all aspects of the game ffs and forget about the playground mentality and 'my dads bigger than your dads' bollox. It's what sets the men from the boys

Mate, again, we are talking about Wio here. Wio.

No one is blaming Joey here or pointing fingers. I understand him, but i would have acted in a different way, but maybe they are mates and who am i to judge? I am against football violence on the pitch, but i can't be hypocrite and feel sorry for Wio and other players like him that provoke other fans and then expect nothing to happend. A smart footballer will keep his head down and celebrate in front of his fans, not do that in a derby that has that pressure. Remember the 6-1 game? In the final moments, there were some fucks behind our reserve bench that abused Sergio talking shit about him. What did he do? He smiled and showed them the ok sign. That is the difference. I felt sorry for Kirkland after that game with Sheffield, but i won't do that for Wio.

I was concerned I was the only one thinking this.

Shocked as well to hear some of the reactions. "He asked for it".
No, he fucking did not. It's like saying a girl was asking to get raped, because she wore a shirt skirt.
I'm all for gauding, especially the rag cunts, but there's a line. Running on the pitch attacking players is crossing that line, quite literally. So is throwing coins.

Oh wee, he celebwated in fwont of us. So what, grow up. Is the person that has the same IQ as a brick really worth it? He can't count to three, or tie his own shoes and tomorrow he'll think it's Thursday.

Stop pointing fingers at others. Look at yourself first.

Out of interest, is the girl who is asking to get raped with the short skirt earning £100k a week to be a role model?

There's me thinking players were paid to play football. (Except some of ours obviously).

That's completely irrelevant. Just because you dislike somebody, doesn't mean you have the right to get your hands on them. Money, or image play no part in this.

Joe did the right thing i don't care if it Wio ... If he does that then it slightly improves the image of our club cause at least our players see what's right. ( I believe that Wio would have murdered him to be honest) he might be an absolute horrible dick but there is no place for crap like that and I couldn't watch the last two minutes after that incident ... I refused to watch one of our "fans" ruin the club ... Think of the sponsorships and money we will have lost because of that and also the media will get right at us. Things like this spoil a good game. Even if we got beat its fair play and we will keep our heads high and say "you'll need more then six to be safe" specially with our spirit and passion behind the club
