May not be up to it.

Lets have a look at him as sub in the FA Cup or something & take it from there.

It will all depend on his level of fitness.I am sure we will only loan him somewhere if he is deemed 100% ready for some serious games but arguably that would be better than just the odd little cameo with us.

Interesting report as ever Doug. We've come a long way since Alam Ball sat in the managers office with his legs up on the desk reading the Racing Post. Or have we? Thats the question I keep asking myself. This bloke has been pissing about with team shape for the last three years. Yet good teams keep ripping us to shreds with very simple methods. Would we not do better with someone who left the chess board at home and spent his time building team spirit and encouraging our excelent players to put the ball in the net more often than the feckin opposition?

Not since last week ,or was it the week before, when he said not long now.

thanks. really want to see him get a run out this year.

keep dreaming

I hope Guidetti gets a run out but I also hope people are reasonable & sensible with him. The number of people who have said stuff like 'sell Dzeko & Balotelli, sign A.N Other then we've got 4 strikers including Guidetti' , ffs, the lad has barely had a kick at City first team level ever & hasn't played proper football at all since springtime. The problem he had, meant he had to rest rather than train, so even if he was 100% fit & healthy within himself now , it could take him until next season toget match fit.

I'm sure these same people, if he plays & is half speed & shit, will say 'sell him'.
Just let him come along at his own pace.

I just highly highly HIGHLY doubt Mancini's willingness to play ANY youth player and his open-mindedness regarding that.
I fully doubt Guidetti never to be put in for premier league games barring injuries and don't expect him to do anything at this club for the first team. I'd like to see him given a chance but I have no faith in Mancini and his mindset on youth players; he just prefers to buy other, "established" players
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.

With the pressure he's under to get results, why would he play youth players when you can buy proven ability.

Well you can't apart from he did, v Real Madrid in the Bernabau & v the rags on Sunday.

No more ridiculous playing Nastasic, than any other promising 19/20 year old.

WRONG in these games imo.

Plenty of other games these lads could play a part though & don't.

Does the fact that Bob personally intervened when the club had all but sold him to Twente the summer before last not suggest to you that he might actually see something in this kid? And as such give you hope that he will use him in the not too distant future?

He gave Savic, Nasty and Boyata a chance, I see no reason why he wouldn't give other young players their chance if he felt they merited it.
