Training Friday 14/12

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Training Friday 14/12

Postby Douglas Higginbottom » Fri Dec 14, 2012 12:30 pm

Not much to report on from a soaking wet Carrington this morning.Maybe not as cold but with the rain and wind I don't think I have felt colder for a long long time. They were working on the far side so it wasn't easy to see much in the gloom through a curtain but at least the keepers were working close by to give me some entertainment. They were working well too and special word for Richard Wright for some of his saves were outrageous (Joe's word not mine)

For the rest it was normal pre match day business and 18 on show. No details on who was missing as I will leave that to the boss in his press conference. I wonder what he really meant by Vinnie having a 2% chance of playing? IS that really Italian for 50/50?

More like plain lunacy! Till today they have always trained on the same pitch next to the buildings on the day before a game and that's the only reason I went today. It's a half decent view on that one.I assume they didn't today as it had been frozen for a few days and may still have been a bit hard.

3 of the young guns involved today were Razak,Rekik and Lopes.

Top man, there is a place for you when I finally get into power. Out of interest, are there any moves to get you back in or was it just a one season (a championship winning one at that) thing? Call me superstitious but maybe you're attendance last season was the magic ingredient for our displays/results compared to this <please take note Roberto/Vicky>

Who will partner Nastasic Doug? From the training sessions you have seen, has Mancini shown more love towards Kolo than Lescott recently or does he treat the players equally?

you are such a charmer, it's no wonder this Carrington girl drops her underpants for you nearly every day....

Congrats you romantic you! Let us in on your secret? Some of us are still fond of the "beg and cram" methods of romantic seduction which has a very low hit rate if i am honest.

cheers

I saw an outstanding Kolo in the second half of the derby. Not confirming that partnership would be no less weird than not starting Tevez last Sunday.

I don'y know what you have done to upset Mrs Doug (apart from stealing her kitchen steps) but on days like this, would it not be easier to simply apologise and beg her to let you back in the house?
