from espn: "UEFA's Financial Fair Play rules come into effect next season but City believe they will be able to meet the guidelines because £15 million of their expenditure is attributable to infrastructure and youth development costs while £80 million comes from contracts that predate 2010, which should qualify them for some relief."

Hope that is accurate as 97.9-15-80 = LOL

The club will meet FFP I have no doubt. They are clearly planning on the basis of FFP standing which is the prudent thing to do. To not meet it would be a disaster, were it to stand, and only a clown would want to take that risk.

Dont forget we also seem on the verge of an expansion to 60,000+ seat. That's how Scum started their financial rise. Looking at the turnover figures - and I know it's harder the higher up we get - we may actually overtake them 'in his lifetime'. LOL

Some of these figures may not be as good as they at first seem, as I think the relief re players is only temporary, however, I think there will be heavy sponsorship looming just around the corner. Some of it actually non Abu Dhabi related.

I notice Arsenal are talking about spending serious money now. So they get together with the rags & Chelsea, join the calls for Platini to stop us from spending, then suddenly all 3 start spending, whilst we are handicapped. Shit, short term, nasty, corrupt behaviour, but it will only effect us for a very short period, in fact probably just this season.

I'm convinced we'll see more big money coming in.

And out of all this report and all these figures ... Sky Sports News' headline this morning is that City's player wage bill has crossed £200m ... and then they move on to other news ... right!!

Could have dreamed about The FA Cup too, Portsmouth won that don't forget. Finishing 4th was a wild dream 5 years ago, the speed with which we have developed is a credit to all involved. That's why the ungrateful whining bitches that form such an ugly block on here make me want to vomit. I was hanging around for FFP discussions but these results are so positive that there is little to discuss other than rules preventing future equity investment being an arse and this isn't the place for that anymore. Too many people throwing tantrums if we draw or only win 2-1...

So, that's that done then. I wonder what the next idea will be to put a block or slow us down?

Premier League governance?

Yet again, Pal, no matter!
Not even Sovereign Governments can stop a business backed with hard finance, in this global world.
For each and ever trick there will be ALWAYS a counter-trick. That's had always been the point, irrespectively of legal or accountancy technicalities.

1. "unintelligible language"
2. "ACID QUEEN"
3. "never once fails to turn a football thread into a himseelf thread"
4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

In Roger Ailes/Donnie Drumpf's words: "don't know it for a fact, but many people say so..."
there must be some truth, then!

The truly clueless people are those who don't realise that QUALIFYING for it is vital but that doing well in it is merely a bonus at this stage.
