Anyone fancy Eriksen from Ajax ? He was quality against us. Possibly a bit similar to Yaya. Nasri + 5-6 mill ?
Also, worrabout Sterlo from the scouse ? Sinclair + 5M should do it.

Just been shown a printed version of the MUEN which has a back page headline saying Mancini wants them to splash the cash & sign Falcao.

It's not Stuart Brennan, it's by Rob Dawson.

In the old days of Peter Gardner etc, headlines like that, in our local paper, were usually due to tip offs from within the club, & could be trusted as at least having a source close to home.

If only that were the case today.

I have mixed feelings about this Falcao business. On the one hand, I'd prefer to stick with the young strikers we have (Mario, Sergio, Dzeko) and let them continue to improve whilst playing in a blue shirt.

On the other hand, if we don't sign Falcao then Chelsea will, and it's RVP all over again.

I can't see Falcao going anywhere til next season.

I mentioned him a long time ago as (imo) possibly the best finisher playing in Europe & THE best header of a football anywhere, but he had only just signed for Athletico & we had just pinched Aguero off them. Even now, he's had one full season there. Surely they will wait until summer at the very least ?

In that case, if Dzeko is still super sub, & Mario is still 'promising' I would ditch the pair of them, & if Falcao is available then sure. I would have ditched them after last season, but imo, as champions, they deserve another go. You never know how that can change a player. It has imo, but not enough so far. Currently, Falcao is a better player on his own than both put together.
