The Jonas brother is firmly in Zabba's pocket. Great work.

Just how good is Zabs? I can't see Micah or Maicon dislodging him with a crowbar and a jar of vaseline.

Considering the massive absentees, probably the best half since long, very long.... should track back to last season.

Strange listening to the TV commentary it sounds like City are playing well but so are Newcastle and maybe it could all be so different.

The match I am watching shows Newcastle looking for free kicks to lob the ball in and hope with Joe making one decent chance from their 2 half chances while City are ripping them apart and could 5 up with better finishing.

Funny how so many amateurs gets finely paid jobs these days, while Master Pundits just struggle to get a pass at Carrington, isn't it?

Garcia till struggling imo, but getting better. He seems to actually reach a decent pace once he starts running but lacks acceleration.

That was the real City going forward; players close together passing and moving. Pity Nasri went off, he looked great around their box. That was really like last season's City up front though, wonderful to see them hit that level just in time.

In contrast, at the back, both centre backs have been absolutely fucking terrible. Barely won a single 50/50 between them & leaving their men umarked at almost every attack. Truly horrible defending. Zabba on the other hand is showing them how it's done.

Every single ball Newcastle put into our box is a potential goal though. Need to keep scoring.

Nasri was on top form today shame about the injury.

Refreshing to see the team playing nice passing football again.

I think the derby defeat may have hit home.
