so, one of the headlines this morning is "OK FELLAINI WAS WRONG, BUT LETS GET TO GRIPS WITH THE REAL PROBLEM" and the article goes on about how Fellaini wasnt allowed to play legally so it should not be that big of a deal...

Fookin hell, just imagine Mario's headless body being dragged through the streets and the lynch mob going nuts.

To be fair Duckman, Mario is a fucking idiot and deserves most of the shit he gets.

Edit, that said (and to stay on topic) Fellaini should get a large ban for those challenges...

You're right, it's the polar opposite of how they would treat it if that had been any one of our players (not just Mario)

Am i the only one who doesn't think his bitch-ass head butt was really that bad? He barely gets him...fucking handbags.

Let's buy him in Jan...We need some goddam fire. Someone needs to start doing some headbutting when we're not clicking. Too often we're prancing around like a bunch of entitled little shits.

Spot on.

Zidane's head butt was a classic, but this one was soft. The rag loving fan, Shawcross, forgets what really happens when Stoke plays at home and what challenges are there. Just look our last two games there.

you can't tie together 4 different peoples opinions into some "aggregate profile" of a "typical poster."

it's not okay to headbutt players. What's also not okay is making out what Fellani did to be something that deserves like a 4-7 match ban.

imho it's just something that would have been a normal straight red card, and a one match ban, right? That's my point. He barely grazes him and while his intent is shit, it didn't amount to much.

also, calm the fuck down. it's not a big deal.

Three seperate offenses all worthy of further punishment. He should get dealt with appropriately, even his manager thinks he's a cunt for doing it. He COULD have got a red for either of the challenges and therefore imo they should be looked at and treated as separate offenses.

Saying that some of the shit the likes of shrek and RVP get away with after a game maybe he won't/shouldn't be made an example of.

His manager is a cunt though as well so it's like jimmy saville calling glitter a kiddy fiddler.

Fellaini clearly committed more than one Red Card offence in that game. Will be interesting to see how its handled; as its not a City player, the furore wont be anywhere near as big a la Adebayor.

My missus reckoned that if she was Fellaini she would have head butted Shawcross too. I was a bit surprised by her attitude to say the least, but her point that Shawcross cheated all the way through the game, grabbing hold of him at every corner is quite valid. "if he just got his hands off him that wouldn't have happened"
Some truth in it, Stoke push the rules to the limit with their antics.
