Top attitude ever since. I much agree. Cant wait to see him seriously challenged.

Aside, Craig Pal, and others, I think You're being a tad harsh on OP.

Football wise, I may think that he's a tool and tbh I do, I had few goes at his vintage idea of football and his tendency to feed his opinion with tabloids (I assume?), NONETHELESS I think he has been supporting City all life long and, accordingly, his opinion - blatantly wrong or right, has the very same CITIZENSHIP on here than any other fella was loves our colours.
He doesn't love Mancini style, he would prefer to see City playing old fashioned 4-4-2 with pacey wingers on the right side of their feet: I cannot agree, in fact I don't, but fuck me, he has the same rights to shout his opinions than me, perphas much more because he probably was at Maine Road singing the Blues in third tier.

From August:

“Honestly, we also kept the option of John’s career being over open,” Van Eijck told RTV Rijnmond. “I’m very pleased we had the opportunity to let two excellent neurologists from the Erasmus and Ikazia hospital do a diagnosis on him within one and a half days. If that wouldn’t have been possible, I would’ve been very fearful for his career.”

“He’s working hard on his recovery. That isn’t progressing as fast as we hoped it would. The seriousness of the inflammation was so severe that we’re already happy that he’ll most likely return to 100% fitness. That’s very important. If that takes one or three months, isn’t important.”

“During certain food poisonings, the body starts making several anti-bodies to get rid of the bacteria. Sometimes those anti-bodies can also affect nerve-systems. This happened with John. A nerve in his right leg, which he needs to play football, has been hit by the anti-bodies. The recovery of those nerve-systems takes ages. You can’t really treat that with modern medicine.”

In short, that Ebola virus is a tough fucker.

top one Ted! I stand corrected as usual, also on humility market price... ;-)

on serious note: did I get it wrong in Your post or what affected Guidetti was actually a byproduct of Ebola? I thought Ebola was 100% letal unless You are lucky enough to be very close to an antigenic material.

If/when Balo is moved on in January then Guidetti can take his place in the first team squad or go on loan for the rest of the season to regain match fitness.

So the point in re signing him is?
There is no point as we will never play him like most of the youth team, we buy them, then they go on free a few season's later.
How many players have made it 'youth' players at city over the last say 5 years?

Well everytime i post a subject in here or make a new thread the same people say annoying shit to me that is unmerited.
If they didn't say unprovoked things in the first place maybe the thread wouldn't of gone the way it has.
Happens everytime.
I can take criticism, but when it''s unprovoked there is no need in it what so ever.
Look at that dick Craig, he say's insulting stuff even though i didn't insult the prick in the first place.
Thinks he knows everything the fucking clown.

I said in my op that he should get more games then Ballatelli, i did not know he was out due to illness and i stand by my comment that when he is back fit again he will not get a chance still.

How can you be this fucking stupid ?

IF he turns out to be a top player, we have him at City still, as he has signed a conract, meaning he can't just walk out for fuck all. If he doesn't turn out to be a top player, we let him go. If we let him go first, & then he turns out to be a top player, we are fucking thick & have wasted all that money on his development, without getting anything back & can watch some other cunts cash in on him.

The reason Mancini hasn't been playing players from our youth/reserves is because they have been either A: shit or B: too young. If we had stayed in the League Cup some would have played. the only player I have seen who would have had a chance at Premier League level is: Guidetti. The reason Guidetti hasn't been playing is because he was A: in Holland, B: injured. It may take him all season to get match fit as he has been unable to do the fitness training due to the nature of his infection, so another loan move may be on the cards.

In the coming years, City will field more & more homegrown players. In ten/fifteen years, half the team will be home grown.

The standard of young players we had was not high enough for a top 4 team. It is getting gradually better & will get a LOT better.
