John Guidetti?

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Speaking of homegrown players, couple of hours ago I saw a moonfaced young chap who strongly resembled Michael Johnson, sat under the veranda of a bar in Chorlton. Probably looking forward to his Christmas break, in the run up to his New Year break, before his Spring break.

Do you really think he will get playing time at city?
Your as fucking stupid as you sound.

How can you be this fucking stupid ?

IF he turns out to be a top player, we have him at City still, as he has signed a conract, meaning he can't just walk out for fuck all. If he doesn't turn out to be a top player, we let him go. If we let him go first, & then he turns out to be a top player, we are fucking thick & have wasted all that money on his development, without getting anything back & can watch some other cunts cash in on him.

The reason Mancini hasn't been playing players from our youth/reserves is because they have been either A: shit or B: too young. If we had stayed in the League Cup some would have played. the only player I have seen who would have had a chance at Premier League level is: Guidetti. The reason Guidetti hasn't been playing is because he was A: in Holland, B: injured. It may take him all season to get match fit as he has been unable to do the fitness training due to the nature of his infection, so another loan move may be on the cards.

In the coming years, City will field more & more homegrown players. In ten/fifteen years, half the team will be home grown.

The standard of young players we had was not high enough for a top 4 team. It is getting gradually better & will get a LOT better.

All i am saying why tie him down if he does not get game time to 'proove' he is good enough?
It's ok loaning him out watching him bang goals in left right and centre at other clubs.
But when he returns do you really think he is going to get game time at city?
Over Aguero, Tevez, Ballabellend,Dzetko?
If you do you are as 'STUPID ' as the rest.

Paulmclaren

Why the hell do we allow him to post?
He will never contribute anything meaningful or positive.
I wouldn't even give him a chance over Robinho is God, there is no hope.
So why do we allow him to post if he is never going to talk anything but shite?

Craig, mancityfans disillusioned clown.
Goes on that he knows everything, yet he know's very little.
What is so bad about the thread?
He scored 20 goals was it for psv in 23 fucking games you clown.
So why is he not been given a chance instead of some prick who thinks he can fight the world and has scored very little goals for us(seeing as he is one of Europes best strikers they say WHAT FUCKING EVER).
He is shit.

Cos he's not fully fit from the illness you thick fuckwit. You could have read your own thread and discovered that but I know reading is probably not one of your strong suits.

You're so dumb that even when your question gets answered, you ask the same "why is he not playing" question again! Fucktard of the highest order

I said in my op that he should get more games then Ballatelli, i did not know he was out due to illness and i stand by my comment that when he is back fit again he will not get a chance still.
You fucking know it all bell end. (well you think you are).

There have been over a page of replies to your OP, most of them commenting on his illness, yet you still asked me again "why he is not being given a chance"? Try reading replies if you're going to start a thread.

Oh and FYI, he's never played for PSV. He was on loan at Feyenoord

He's 'tied down' because we think he has a chance of making it ffs. If he doesn't we will let him go.

Do I think he'd be getting games now over Dzeko etc ? Absofuckinglutely. He was miles miles miles better v Ajax last season than any of our lot were this season. I just hope he gets fit. Trouble is, every cunt will expect him to be lazer sharp after being sat on his arse for 8 months & then write him off if he isn't.

He went down a storm in Holland and if he wasn't ours, we'd have all been saying we should sign him up. He then got the virus which ruined the end of his season, stopped him going to the Euros and has kept him out since. He's now back in training, but, I suspect, far from match fit.

So when do you think he should have got the game time? At the point he was unable to even stand up?

IF he'd been fit, I suspect he would have been loaned to a PL team until January so we could have a look at him in this league. Depending what happens with Dzeko and Mario in January and his fitness, he MAY get loaned out to a PL side. We may even get to see him in the cup first.

Whether he'll ever be a top 4 player, no one knows, not even him or Mancini. That will only come when he gets to play. And he'll only get to play when fit. He's had one game so far, in the league cup last season and then went on loan. He would probably have been in it this year, IF FIT.

If Mancini has woken up, neither of them will get starting time either. However, he could certainly get on from the bench. His problem may be that if he's not fit till say February, Mancini may feel it's too much a risk to put him in when we don't know how good he is. But different in September, but once the run in starts, it'd be brave to try an unknown.

That's why I think he'll go on loan, if he's fit before the end of the window.

I think, with circumstances as they are right now, and with our forwards all struggling to find the net before our most recent game - if Guidetti hadn't contracted the virus it would be almost guaranteed that we would have seen him at some point in the Prem by now.
