Me to, thought they had stole a point through shocking negative play..So proud of city today. Expect alot more of this parking the bus crap, but our players are used to this now and can deal with it.

What for? Barry just jumped higher for the ball and the defender bottled out for the header. It was a brave gutsy header..Fantastic match winner for me mate.

It was borderline, could have been given as a free.

Most certainly not against U*d or Scouse1, tho.
It was not a foul anyway. I saw 3 slomo

1. "unintelligible language"
2. "ACID QUEEN"
3. "never once fails to turn a football thread into a himseelf thread"
4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

In Roger Ailes/Donnie Drumpf's words: "don't know it for a fact, but many people say so..."
there must be some truth, then!

Probably what I mean. You've seen so many given you almost expect a foul.

I didnt see any contact from Barry, just a brave match winning header..Will have to look at it again.

Defender got caught napping. Looked like Barry was all over him but in actual fact the defender didn't jump and backed in therefore the contact was inevitable.

What a nerve wrecking game this was. Was listening on radio so I went mental as soon as they mentioned that Gaz Baz had clinched the winner. Huge 3 points! Great Christmas present

McDermott complaining that he didn't get anything from the game. How do you deserve anything if you come to play a team in your own half and have a rare attack?
You can say you defended well, but that does not translate into deserving a point or anymore.
Well done Baz, a bit of grit and bravery won us that. Keep it going city.
Happy Christmas all.

Didnt get to watch this but read a match report. How on earth did we only score at the death after arsenal trounced them last weekend? Frankly, a 1-0 win over Reading is a bit embarrassing.

Stuart Brennan had tweeted this before our goal, around 80th minute of the game I suppose ...

@StuBrennanMEN: City survive - looked a clear penalty for Nastasic handball.

What was that? I completely missed it and no mention in this thread either??

About 5 minutes to go a cross came in from the left and he went at it with his chest but it looked handball to me, I was sat in line with it and said as much. Got away with it for me.

Very average performance overall but no better way to win it against a bunch of time wasting bastards, at it from the first few minutes. Kebe is a cunt.

Bit of a rag-style comment. No easy wins in the Premier League. Remember where we've come from. Always remember.

Never a TRUER word spoken A DVT ;)

PROPER teams keep going for the win till the death and Reading were never going to be as pathetic as there were against the gooners the other night.
