I'm not even remotely stressed personally. I am still happy with last season's title & bdidn't neccessarily expect to win it this season.

If I was stressed however, I would be right in there panicking right now as we could be 12 or 15 points behind in a few weeks time if results & performances continue. I don't actually care that much about it this season but I do want the club to progress, win or lose, & at the moment we are not doing, which is unacceptable imo & that is winding me up.

I think those of you who calmly expect us to cruise along as we are doing & stay in the title race are deluded though. We improve or we are dead. In fact, if we don't improve, we will be in danger from Arsenal & Everton. Then, I will be stressed & so will you.

If things don't change radically the title race will be over after the Arsenal game. To be honest I already can't see this season's Mancini effort, mounting a good enough run to put the filth under any pressure whatsoever. Lets hope for a very kind cup draw. Even that will only paper over the cracks.

When Van Persie , went to them in the summer , I thought to myself this will be the main difference in us and them , then we signed these players at the death and lost a key player in DeJong its just not working out for us but it is for them .

Exactly.
We are wasting time.
Missing the main chance.
It has 'unfolded' rather than 'unfolding'.

Van Persie isnt the difference. United goals wise, are pretty much where they were last season, worse in fact as they are conceding more. Its us thats different, not united

Personally at times like this I think about where we have come in the last 10 years, yes with the players we've got we should be playing better but win, draw or lose I'm CTID!

Ok, clever cunt.

How many goals had united scored after 19 game of last season?

And how many goals had they scored after the same number of this one?

Answer. 48

United haven't improved for having signed RvP, they have just replaced Rooney as main goalscorer.

they have actually regressed considerably defensively, evidence for that, this season, conceded 28, last season after 19 games, conceded 16

So you reckon a team with a goals record of
48 / 28 this season
48 / 16 last season
Is better because Robin van Persie is in it - fucking horse shit, he is keeping the ship afloat this year scoring goals in games where the odd goal in 5 or 7 takes the honours, whilst Rooney last year was bullying teams in 4-0 wins week in week out.

To say they have improved is a total and utter myth, and you have fallen for it, hook, line and sinker.

I've not given up hope just yet but I'm getting more desperate by the week. I would be 'happy' to finish second this season if we improved somewhat in Europe and won the fa cup. The thing is though, I think we were really unlucky with the champs league draw yet again and anything can happen in 90 minutes of a cup game so not expecting much right now given current form. Whatever happens though, I won't be calling for a managers head who has just won us two trophies and a league. A personal wait of 34 years. He deserves more than that, give him, trixi, soriano, etc. a little more time, I think they actually do know what there doing.

If folks are thinking its all over after only half a season and only a seven point deficit then god help us all caude it could get worse before it gets better, or we may start to gain some momentum and start to rack up a decent run of points.

Rags aint having it all their own way and their defence is not the best at all. They will drop points no doubt about it.

Yes some of mancini's tactics baffle me at times but no different to some of the odd decisions he made last season. That will hopefully change.

However to have some belief in your team doesnt always bode well on forums. Think i started a believe topic after the arsenal game last season and soon got labelled a happy clapper. I kept that belief at 89 minutes in the qpr game and city proved that we have a knack of going about things the hard way but we did it and are more than capable of doing so again.

Believe!

I actually had belief right upto the Arsenal game last season, then I thought we'd blown it. I based that on the fact that I thought we had it in us to pull it back due to what I'd seen us do that season.

Now I think we're not as good, have pretty much blown it now but are about to put the tin hat on that in the next few weeks.

If we start looking like a side who is going to improve & pull back those points, I will have given up too early again & be delighted to be wrong again.
