Sly signing

If Chelsea sign Falcao, we'll be really up against it for a few seasons, with both The Rags and Chelsea significantly responding to our title win. We have to get in there and snap him up, regardless of cost. Missing another gem would be a lot to stomach, possibly too much.

This fella Isco has been mentioned too, I wonder if there is anything in it. If (big if) we can unload the clown Balotelli, there might be money in the immediate pot (FFP take a bow) plus wages saved from mario to lavish a on a new face. However, what is clear is that this business should have been sorted in the Summer, instead of bagging the mediocrity we bought. I mean, fucking Rodwell? Do me a favour!

I think an all-out £45m bid to sign Falcao would be the perfect tonic. Probably sounds like stating the obvious, but there it is.

Unless he's signed a new contract (Isco) his buyout clause was rumoured to be 16 or 16.5 million (my geriatric brain can't remember if it was euros or pounds, probably euros). There was some talk of Malaga trying to renegotiate his contract to get it up to the 30 million mark, not sure how credible that was though.

Mancini says signing players is not the answer.

Looks like Txiki has taken the keys to safe.

I was thinking more in terms of 'one out, one in' - sack off Balotelli to Italy or France and use Guidetti to not-play-for-the-first-team (like the clown prince himself), then bring in some extra creativity to try and jump start our failing heart. (Then get our fullbacks fit, which will be another big help)

Falcao's buyout is 28m euro's so i'd offload Mario and go all out on a wage packet. any leftovers i'd spend on Isco.

Then i'd bring in Fellani, whatever the cost, even if it means offering Lescott and Rodwell in part exchange.

Then i'd look at adding width.

Lampard, could sit deep as Mancini likes our midfielders to do, and can arrive in box to devastating effect still. Great player, but would need us to be more dynamic when in the final third

Think he would want longer than 6 months though

I think we all know what the solution is and it's time for everyone to admit it. Let's bring back Stephen Ireland.

If we were to consider somebody to get us to the end of the year then I would like us to try and get Raul,Henry or Nistelrooy

Ah , the Daily Fail ...... must be true !

Bebe has moved back to portugal (Rio Ave 3rd team) so that must have freed up at least a hundred quid for the rags.

Lastly now we find ourselves 7 points behind Stretford isnt it amazing the rag mafia media arent relentlessly hammering us like they did when we unbeaten and just 3 points behind them ? Funny world innit ;)

"triple is wages". Thought players took pay cuts to go there on account of all that history they have.

The way shit is going from bad to bad at the minute I wouldn't be surprised if they went and fucking signed ronaldo aswell while we swapped tevez and silva for de Rossi.

Could be, but could also be: no spend now= same manager but big clearout of players & some huge signings in the summer.

Zaha from Palace ; QUICK,skilful , plays on the WING , scores the odd goal, and best of all , wanted by the Govan wino. Why aren't we in there with a hijack ?
Alternatively ,another, experienced, winger, Quaresma is a free agent . . .
