One Rule For One

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

One Rule For One

Postby Beefymcfc » Sat Dec 29, 2012 11:12 pm

What do you reckon, is Mancini just being bitter?

"Both players came forward with their heads, so if you are going to send off one, then you have to send off both, not only Samir.

"Samir said he touched his head, okay, but the other player has done the same.

"The linesman has a big responsibility also, because it was not a good decision, it is incredible.

"You want to send off both players? Then, okay, the referee was there, he saw everything. The linesman was behind [the players], he could not see.

"We will appeal, sure."

Mancini continued: "I am disappointed with Samir, and he will pay his fine, but the decision was not correct.

"Samir did a mistake, okay, but after why when the other player did the same thing, does he send off only one?

"There are two rules for different teams, and I hate this in football and cannot accept this.

"In life, there is only one rule for everyone.

"This season, I have seen things which are not good.

"For the referees, this is the most easiest thing to do, but I do not want to talk about the referees too much, because I said last time that they had a big lunch for Christmas, and I don't know what [will happen]."
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".

Even though you are fishing.... ;-)

Of course not. I think he should shout it as loud as he can and anybody else senior at the club (not players) should join in.

We have to get the inconsistency of all this shit out there. After all, what's the worst that can happen? A fine and touchline ban?

When nasri pushes his head forward that's a red. Bassong did well not to react to be fair. Nasri is lucky.

Mancini made me laugh about the pass back. Someone needs to explain the new rules of football to him.

I like how Mancini is giving the refs shit though. Taggart gets away with it and it obviously gives his team a massive advantage when refs have tuff decisions to make (see Chelsea away, cheating bastards). I hope Mancini sticks to it and keeps fighting the bent cunts and not just letting their inept performances slide.

They both went head-to-head mate, Nasri merely came off the aggressor after the follow through.

Compare and contrast to Van Persie. Or what about Zab/Sagna. One rule for one?

Not fishing at all Mate.
it's not for the first time that I strongly suggested that the Club should go all out to hit this shite back.

It was Nasri's head movement to the side that the assistant will have spotted and caused the red. If he hadn't done that, he'd have for away with it. I'd also suspect no grounds for an appeal based on that movement.

As an aside, the rolling round looking like he was dying before jumping up was a disgrace. If you're not injured, don't fake it you cheese eating, surrender monkey.

Yeah it just made nasri look worse after the way he jumped up. The ref wasn't going to send nasri off until the Lino told him about that bit I reckon.

That zaba one was a fucking joke. He did absolutely nothing wrong. But he is a player that never gets the benefit of the doubt or any protection of any kind from refs.

Grounds for appeal.

I'm not denying anything, I fucking hate players rolling around, especially ours. However, Van Persie squared up without recourse whilst Zab's got sent off for standing there whilst Sagna did the same as Nasri.

I didn't see Nasri nut Bassong or even give him a rabbit punch, he merely pushed to the side so why is there disparate rules within the game? How about Vinnie's clear taking the ball, why was that a foul?

I guess so, but still.

This debate around consistent refereeing and decisions will never end. How many Kompany like tackles did we see last season following his red? He became the benchmark for what was acceptable for the rest of the season following that.

It's most annoying when you get 2 so close together like Van Pussie and Nasri.

There's no inconsistency, how can it be. If you were a referee and been to all the ref's meetings, you'd know exactly what was what at the time; they'd tell you so.
