I don't think it was him mate, he's a right arse-clown. This was on one of the American channels.

Just shows though, how many of these fuckers seem to have a grudge when it comes to commentating on our matches. A lot of them are southerners so I can understand why they give the Rags a glowing report. Poor little City are now taking their childhood clubs place at the top table and they obviously don't like it.

I'm just gonna put it out there that I thought vinnies challenge was ott, if that we're on us I'd be calling for a foul. I think he was a little out of control and I think the fact that it led to a goal shaped the refereeing decisions for the rest of the match.

For me that challenge is the same sort that snapped eduardos shin.

I also think that it was nothing like vinnies perfectly good challenge in the Manc derby last year.

It was an American channel I got the stream from. Don't know which one as I switch the sound off & go for brew or a shit everythime the tools appear at halftime . Tony Gale has a similar kind of voice to Paul Walsh, so I initially thought it was PW, as he started quite positively.

Hmmm. I wonder if there'll be an article at the end of the season about how many points poor reffing decisions have cost us.

It was nothing like the Eduardo challenge although I too thought the ref was going to give it as a foul. He looked as though he's lost control and flew in with both feet but once he's got the ball crumpled his legs to avoid the collision. I don't even think he touched the player, he just dived over and out of the way.

Image

I fact, you can clearly see from this pic that he jumps over Vinnie's challenge by where his feet are compared Vinnie's. If he'd have hit him his feet would be behind Vinnie's, not over and in front.

Edit: Give some credit to the site I pinched that picture from. Some really nice pics on there - [urlnp=http://myheartbeatsfootball.wordpress.com/tag/norwich-city-v-man-city/]Link[/urlnp]

I'm not talking about the player on the receiving end, that's irrelevant. My point is the way he lunged in was using excessive force and from an angle that could easily cause a major injury.

He may as well tackle like that cos he seems to get penalised regularly for winning the ball cleanly.

I know what you mean and like I said, I was expecting the ref to blow for a foul. We do know that Vinnie isn't that sort of player though which obviously helps his case. It was a 50-50 ball for me and could've gone either way.

This is excessive for me.

Even so glad he let it go as vinnie has and continues to get punished for far less.

So which bit is new? Its been that way for ages

Apparently, the FA have confirmed that Samir Nasri is to get a life-time ban as his headbutt could have killed Robin Van Persie....

I'd be interested to see a similar one off how many the refs have given the rags. Such as at Stamford bridge and Anfield.

Nasri acted like the feckin big fanny he is, as we all in our hearts know, despite him wearing a blue shirt.Good for Bert for defending his players for a change, but the fact we didn't appeal it says it all. Sent off for a nut that did no damage what so ever. How useless is that? What decision did anyone expect that clueless pair to come up with? Common sense? Jones? He's the worst of the feckin lot and that's saying something. Anyway, I said at the time there will be more space and we'll be better off without Nasri, who was right in front of us and absolutely failed to get at Garrido who is as vulnerable as feck as we all know.So no real harm done and Milner gets a run of games.(i hope)

Not from that picture. That shows it as one footed and that he initially only makes contact with the ball.

If that's deemed as excessive there is no hope left for this contact sport we all love.

Unhappy, me.Nah. Nasri walked, we saw a great game, we moved the ball forwards and advanced from deep quickly which everyone and his dog had asked for, won, The Norfolks were cool, the trip home was easy and the grub in the pub was ace.Don't make Nasri less of a big girl which surely you've noticed.
