Disappointing but understandable news.

Yes, understandable. Mancini still mentioned on his aftermatch OS presser that we would appeal, he must've been briefed by those that know the score.

Totally agree KK, I would like to think the club are building a dossier for future use. We are going to miss Yaya enough without giving the refs and fa more fuel for their campaign.

Simply because Nasri can miss this stoke and next Watford match but Mancini need him when yaya goes to ACON

yes, but still I would have loved the FA to be presented a case with VanPussy punching.... just to echo double standards.... could have been well worth an additional week ban.
however much understandable, indeed

1. "unintelligible language"
2. "ACID QUEEN"
3. "never once fails to turn a football thread into a himseelf thread"
4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

there must be some truth, then!

I think the club should have announced this in a press conference where they would keep showing a replays of the nasri & van pussy incidents in the background just to point out the double standards.

But more on topic, like someone said, understandable that the club doesn't want to give more fuel to the FA. Esp. as Yaya goes off soon

Until we start making a song and dance about incidents/decisions like this then we'll never get the breaks of the FA rag stronghold. United never take shit like this ... ever

I understand why but am very disappointed with this decision by the club.

Any appeal would have been seen as frivolous as he deserved to go under the rules. The problem is the inconsistency of refereeing as Bassong should have gone and van pussy also. Just another example of refs being crap.

I think it was a strategic decision ... an appeal today would have freed him to play against Stoke tomorrow but if decision upheld next 4 games would have gone for him starting Warford, this way he is out till Arsenal so keeping in mind Yaya gone after Stoke, the club have probably taken a wise decision; we all know the outcome of an appeal anyway.

Arsenal game is the most important for us now ... No Kolo backup in the Defense, no Yaya, now Nasri ... I also hope Mancini doesn't take Watford lightly before that game either as we saw in the CapitalOneCup game against Villa ... Must win both games, need 3 points Arsenal away and need to get to next round FA Cup.

People keep on mentioning it, but I never saw a punch by Van Pussy. He acted like an arsehole, fell over into William's crotch and then raised his hands (red card) and was all angry like a girl, but I never saw a punch, or even a girly slap.

I think his behaviour overall was worse than Nasri's and the aggression alone deserved a red or at least looking at by the FA.

As it's only Stoke and Watford, we're right not to appeal.

Wants Nasri back when Yaya leaves so he doesnt want to delay the suspension any longer, especially since they wouldn't win it anyways

We weren't going to win an appeal. Simple as that. Right decision.

Van Pussy give him a little grubber punch (seen from a different angle) but it looked like he was trying to give him a nipple twist. VP can get a little unsavoury off the ball but he turns into a shithouse once he's face-to-face. Probably like Nasri.

Ah, that, ok. I'd call that pathetic fondle 'raised hands'.

Besides, I think you'll find he's an unsavoury shithouse at all times mate. That's why I never wanted him.... but my morals have shifted since the season began! Still wouldn't want him, but there are other shithouses out there ;-)
