I'll better have a mutual agreement involving Cavani and Raiola, not necessarily on a direct swap but ending up with everyone's smiles...

Maybe just maybe mario isn't as good as all the hype and we've all expect so much from him because of said hype. Now we don't like him because he hardly delivers and is generally shit. He was shit to begin with and was riding the hype and 'potential' far too long. The only difference between mario and andy Carroll is mario does 'wacky' things every now and then.

That's not true, he's good when he wants to be, and occasionally he is awesome. He just doesn't 'want to be' enough.
So this is how it feels to be City,
This is what it means to stand tall,
This is how it feels when our club has no debt at all.

The occasions he is 'awesome' are far out weighed by the occasions he acts the total dick. Far out weighed indeed.

People keep saying he can play awesome and brilliantly yet I can only recall a few goals and a few link ups that I would could brilliant. Never a whole game.
I understand that this situation may not be solely his fault, but any issue at city seems to be centred around Balo. If the lad can not settle, and he certainly doesn't seem like he is, then the only possible solution is to sell him. Remove the player before the boss to see if events on and off the pitch improve.

The only game I can recall when he was excellent from start to finish was the FA Cup semi final v the rags

Exactly. I remember the 6-1 against the rags where I thought he had a good game.
How long has he been here! And we can pick out only two games where he has put a bit of effort in.
Shocking.
I know some people like him, and will name more games where he has played well, but the fact is, you will be comparing those games to the games where he has been atrocious. Compared to the rest if the team, he is at the bottom for work rate and that is not good enough.

"Boss plays
down Mario
incident"

"Roberto Mancini has played down a reported training ground argument with Mario Balotelli.

Photographs in the Press on Thursday suggested the City boss and his striker had clashed during the morning session at Carrington but Mancini said the seemingly heated exchange was nothing unusual and has already been forgotten.

“Mario made a tackle on his team-mate that I would prefer to see in a game and not against a team-mate,” said Mancini.

“I asked him to leave the pitch – he said no so I moved him off. That’s all that happened and it was nothing more than that,” he said.

“Will Mario have more chances? I will give him 100 chances as long as I can see him trying to improve and working hard for this football club.”"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

He made the difference and scored the opening goal against Everton sometime during the autumn of 2011.

Imo, he has put plenty of effort in when he's played this season & on the whole played ok, apart from in Dortmund, where he allowed himself to be intimidated by the crowd. He just hasn't been quite upto the standard we require, but neither have the other players in most games.

I think we all know that Mario is a bit of a nutter. When Mancini is winding him up to do stuff, shouting at him all the time to run here, do this, do that, then bollocking him for it if tries to comply in his own way, overdoes something & he gets it wrong, he is on a loser.

Mancini the player would never have accepted someone being on his case like Mancini the manager, & would have ended up punching him in the face. But Balotelli seems to need this lunatic shouting at him to feel comfortable at a club & can't live without it. It's time he did.

The two are pretty weird, mentally iffy, individuals & need seperating or it will most likely come back to bite us on the arse in a crucial game & cost us a whole tournament somewhere down the line.

I'm not his biggest fan, I will be honest about that. But I think that is due to what I expect from a city player and unfortunately he's not meeting the expectations.
I'm not the boss, nor will I ever be, but we do have a lot of players who work their arse off and you have him who has had chance after chance and still decides to piss about.
Sorry, but right now, Balo is not for us.
