PSG are daft enough, Juventus have the money - either one would pay at least £15m minimum. If they wouldnt, then he stays.

That said, he wont be going anywhere until the summer when he and Mancini may both be gone - unless Utd collapse again and we win the Prem.

Piccs,
Should you ever leave the railway mate....you would make a great career organising jumble sales.
Up to now,you have unloaded Hughes, Petrov, Mancini, Balotelli....who is next on the Piccs Hit List?

(Should Marwood be in there somewhere?)....and please don't reply to this post by telling me I'm a cunt, I have already been informed by City 64.

Juventus are still having financial problems, they play the media and are linked to just about every player that becomes available. Juve is not good for Balo

I never unloaded Hughes. I was a on the 'stability' bus. . . . .with you.
Petrov was a pansy.
Mancini is a scaredy baby.
Balotelli is up there in the 'one of the most over rated players I've ever seen in Blue' category.
Oh and you ARE a cunt. :-)
I don't think there is another club in England (where most of the cash is) who would commit to Balo.
Then you have the Milan clubs pleading poverty as usual. And PSG, who may or may not want him.
Five year deal with his wages at a similar level to now involves a 40ish million wage effort and I just don't see who is going to be prepared to stump up that sort of money on a high risk player and trouble like Mario.
He isn't playing much, he isn't scoring much, the fans, manager, and team mates are running/have run out of patience with him. It's there for other clubs to see and it is perceived we are keen to get rid of him. Why would any club offer anything more than peanuts for him?
Even if we offered him for nothing, there wouldn't be a big queue for him.

Heres an idea, why dont you transfer to another forum with your bullshit post or just get behind the lad. Hes 22 ffs and in all honesty for a kid of his age with bags of cash and miles from home hes not really done much wrong. Get behind the kid rather than looking for a stupid excuse to start a new post.

Oh dear Oh Dear.
What is it with this, you MUST post something positive about City and all our players?

It is the majority view that he should be moved on if possible. Therefore it isn't unreasonable to discuss what sort of fee we might receive for him.
For what its worth, I think he will be staying as no other club will stump up. Hey and he might even get it together for us in his time at City and that would be great.

Lee, posts like yours are the really stupid ones, and I do believe you are a right turd.

Perhaps, it is NOT the majority of us who want him moved on? Perhaps some of us don't knee jerk at every pathetic story that the press dig up against us?

I'm not saying that we'll get that for him but £20m buys a lot more Stewart Downings than it buys you Luis Suarez's these days.

Personally i'd accept whatever would allow us to bring in Falcao and not effect FFP.

Do people really think we are going to bring in Falcao without getting rid of 3 of our strikers?

Does it have to be 3? I was thinking more of 1 in 1 out and if were to sell Mario we'd need a replacement instantly and Falcao would be my pick.

What I'm saying BB is that if we went for Falcao we've firstly got the money issue. Chelsea et al have been linked so we can say it will cost a hell of a lot of money in transfer and wages, something we are obviously conscious of. Then there's the thought that if he did come to us that he'd be guaranteed a first team place. There's be no point in having the likes of Tevez and Edin around as we all know that it'd be Sergio and Falcao.

I think it's ok to discuss whatever you want and be as negative as you want as long as there's some balance to it.

I do however agree with you that there's still time for him and we should give him that time. Circumstances and all that.

If he's moved on, it'll be interesting to see how the new management handles it. The old regime would have paid another club to take him. Hopefully Soriano does better.

I'm pretty sure theres already a Mario thread you could have added to. Its like starting a new thread every five minutes.. 'Do you think he'll ever score for us again' 'Will he ever play for us again' etc.. Its just pointless drivel that nobody actually has an answer to. Its not even constructive its just bollox mate. I just find it annoying that you seem to think everyone wants to get rid and that bollox too.. I reckon most fans would like to see him to rise to his potential but I'm not going to start a new thread asking 'Will Mario ever justify his hair do' ffs. I'll admit I was in a bad mood this morning so reacted to your post negitively but I still dont see the point in it.

Trouble is his wages are very high so that would make him difficult to shift. Ted can defend him all he likes but he doesn't score enough goals in my book. I dare say we'll keep him till the end of the season unless we get another striker in. We need 4 strikers and Sergio's injured.

For some in the City hierarchy Balo is important to the City project. People keep banging on about given your all for the shirt. But how many kids have Milner on the back of their shirt. I know of 3 kids that have Balo on the back on theirs over here. Funny thing is a year ago none of them liked City they were Chelsea, Liverpool and Scum fans. Also the most important person at the club is a fan and likes the attention he brings to the club. His opinion is far more important than anyone's on this board.

Hahahahahahahaha...that's you told then Piccs.....:-)

TBH, I feel quite a lot of sympathy for Mario. He must be a very confused young man. Since the moment he arrived, he has been targeted by the media and defined as an idiot. Different maybe, eccentric probably but he' has been battered by our media in a relentless campaign to make him look stupid. He has been subjected to the full gamut of lies and sensational shite usually reserved for criminals. He has been an easy target and now the media has set him up, they are content to knock him over.

The "Why always me" t shirt may have been amusing to some but think on...In reality it was a cry for help from a lonely confused kid. "Why always him?" What has he done so wrong to be so vilified by the media?

Personally, I would sell him for his own protection. To get him away from the rancid rag media and get him some normality.

God knows but I'd take a big box of maltesers and a packet of twiglets, fed up of picking up the papers, turning on Sky sports etc and reading negative stories about him.
Far from feeling sorry for him, he's 22 not 16, always looking to be centre stage without the intelligence to pull it off successfully so to speak.
Time for Mario to piss off to another country to bore and annoy the shit out of them.
