*** Manchester City v Watford - Official Match Thread ***

Postby AG7 » Sat Jan 05, 2013 12:22 pm

With Aguero out and Balo on the bench (as per Mancini's news conf) it's Dzeko and Tevez upfront ...

Safe to assume Panti in the goal ...

With Arsenal game a whole week and a day away, don't think Mancini would be inclined to 'rest' any other main player, so a fairly predictable lineup then?

How about Kolo Toure who apparently has stayed behind an extra day while Yaya and Razak have gone?

Here's my team predilection:

Panti
Zaba, Kompany, Kolo, Nasti
Garcia, Barry, Milner
Silva, Tevez
Dzeko

Score prediction: 4-1

Sorry dazby, didn't see your thread first, I was typing mine at the same time ... then couldn't delete mine, am typing on the train on my way to the game and don't know how to delete on the phone.

Thanks for merging the two threads!

Panti

Rekik Lescott kolo Zaba
Garcia Milner
Sinclair Silva
Tevez. Dzeko

Like you said, with the Arsenal game approaching, a conservative yet strong team.
Back four may change, but midfield and strikers will more or less be this I think.

Suarez and Rekik for me. Would say Razak too if he wasn't away.

I reckon he will play Rekik instead of Nasti to start with in this one.

Any rivers today?
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

They nomally list them all day, then put the links up an hour before. And no streams mean it's not on foreign channels in the pub.
GMR it is then..
