Interesting to see Wabara back. The Oldham fan at work says he's the best player to ever play for them after Scapuzzi.
Young Rusnak is like another Weiss but smaller and doesn't play with his head up. My overriding memory when I saw him was him bottling a tackle on the half way line in a U21 game inches from Lombardo who immediately took him off at the next break in play.
Really looking forward to seeing the youth play on Thursday night.
Was there any reason for Boyata being back? hopefully recalled from his loan to cover for Kolo!

The best since Scapuzzi!!!! My god their standards are low. I wondered about Boyata but I don't know yet if he has been training with the EDS at Carrington.I will have to find out.
I agree the youth game on Thursday should be well worth a watch. I expect a big turn out from this forum.

I don't know is the only answer I can give. At Carrington I can tell what players are there and what they are doing because I know them and how they move but I can't say the same about our hierarchy.I knew about Soriano because i asked somebody and today I was talking with Mark Booth ,the guy who does reports on a lot of the games for the OS and he mentioned Txiki was there today.
If they put boots on and joined in it would be easier.

Twente fucked Boyata off cos he was shit. Shame, had high hopes for the lad when he first broke onto the scene but pretty obvious he will never make it with us if he isn't good enough for the Dutch league.

I must be ill, as I start to get annoyed, myself too, of Mancini jr. starting games.
As for the Soriano/Berguistein - regular or not - supervision of the Academy..... well, only on what I mocked as sci-fi, someone could have genuinely believed that They were hired to overlook Bob Football....
THEY HAD BEEN HIRED TO FIX TWO MASSIVE VOID HOLES ON THE CLUB ORGANIZATION: accordingly, as everyone knows that the Academy development is core to ADUG's project, They are looking after IT, to prevent additional disasters originated by Leatherface incompetence.

How the fuck can the bloke who originated the project in the first place be incompetent ?

You'd imagine if he was so incompetent that he would have been sent on his way with a bag full of cash when Sorry and Cheeky arrived and not made responsible for cultivating the future stars of the football club.

If I am not mistaken, smart organizations aiming to establish a very cool public image, used to "promoveatur ut amoveatur" - as opposed to use the axe - since a couple of thousands years........... but I may be wrong.
