Indeed, a very interesting night.

Mr. Chief Executive, a beloved Mate of mine, whose football nose is finer than Taggart's before it went totally burst by the extensive use of malt, often implies that our Roberto is now no more than a coach, a tool whose faith is now upon total influence of the Catalan Room at the Club..... :-)

That looks like it would be great event. If I was living in the UK at the moment, I would definitely liked to have gone to it.

If anyone from here goes, please give us a report on what happens.

I'd like to go, but have no intention of paying out for it. Therefore, if you buy me a ticket, I'll write down everything that was said and give you a full report when I get back. Sounds fair to me

I think it's very encouraging.

I remember Hughes & Gary Cook going to Abu Dhabi & meeting up with fans plus they invited and wined and dined some of the top sports writers such as Henry Winter. Cook spelled out the long term plans & explained how the owner was into stability & how we had a great young manager etc. Winter & Co, all suitably impressed, ran big stories praising City for their attitude & foresight.

Meanwhile, Khaldoon was interviewing Mancini for the job. Hughes was sacked a few weeks later.

In essence, you are correct Carl. Though one shouldn't always take me so seriously. Not even I do that.

I don't think Cook even knew until after that. He was just doing his job i recon.

The shitstorm they got from the press last time after feeding them a load of lies & bollocks & encouraging them to print it, will make them think twice about doing it again I should think, so this public show is indeed probably good news for Mancini imo.

It still won't change make him 100% safe though, whatever they say.

And rightly so. why the hell a fucklin football manager should live a quite life? He is already on silly money to live the most exciting life one may dream of: a tad of chili up his arse can only make him better, Carl would say.

on a side, very important, note: do You think that Barry legs might last this good for the next 40 days?

No. I think he will have to be rested here & there or will lose his effectveness, but some games should be ok for Garcia, Milner & Nasri.
