I may be a gullible cunt but you are a thick fucker unable to comprehend even the most rudimentary ideas. Ok, so you think theres some tin hat plot where Ibrahimovic gives a shout to Mario because his agent says for him to do so? Ibrahimovic doesn't really seem like to the type of person to be bothered with agent's requests on the off chance that Mario might be sold. Maybe Ibrahimovic was actually just speaking about a friend that he trained with because he recognizes talent when he sees it.

Still doesn't address the fact that Yaya (and many other teammates) have openly endorsed Mario multiple times this season. They have no reason to put themselves out there and defend Mario unless they actually believe that his actions have the possibility to backup their words.

Also doesn't address that Gianfranco Zola just said about Mario after the Watford game:

Practically EVERY professional in Italy or England who has worked with Mario believes in his talent. It is a shame that miserable little shits (who call themselves "fans" but wear barca jerseys) like yourself keep giving into the rag media and making it harder for a City player to succeed. Fuck off

Yaya, Tevez are his teammates........they will naturally support their team mates through a tough patch, I would expect nothng less. Zola was being interviewed after a game he had just competed in AGAINST mario.

So why again was Ibra talking about Mario?

And as for making it harder for Mario to succeed. How the fuck am I doing that. By being underwhelmed by him, by being fucked off with his antics when I spend £150 to travel to Arsenal or West Brom and see him sent of for utter stupidity? By questioning the ability he apparently has but never shows?

There is only one person making it harder for Mario to succeed, and that is himself. Is that rudimentary enough for you?

I have already stated my opinion on the matter, I guess you missed that. However, I am wondering if you are some sort of adolescent due to the rather immature style in which you posted.

And your point is rather irrelevant, but that doesn't concern me as much as your childish antics.

Eh, you shouldn't expect the nicest reply when someone starts out by calling you a gullible cunt. Plus, it gets tiring to defend your own players on your own team's fan forum. I expect to have to defend Mario when talking to rags, liverpool fans, or other similarly media brainwashed bandwagon football watchers.

He hasn't had the best 1/2 of a season, but he has been injured for a good part of it and not been given many chances when fit. I don't think he's done a ton wrong in the past month or so. You'd think our fans would realize that he is one of the premier young talents in the world (see Euro 2012) and see past the latest media/rag manufactured bullshit.

People also seem to forget that Mario has been one of our top performers in our trophy deciding games (FA semi/final, vs. QPR). He delivers when it really counts. Cut the kid some slack and appreciate what we have. Some young players have the chance of being in the top 10% of players in the world. Very, very few have the potential to be in the top 10 players in the world. When you have one of those, you should at least give them until 24 to see if they pan out. They will be the players that can win you a Champions League.

Or sure, give up on a young player before they even reach 24 and look to get the latest buzzword player of the season (hoping that they come good in a year or 2 before looking to the next "savior") ....which I think is a shit attitude from spoiled fans

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

It really counted against arsenal last year, it really counts against Kiev in the uefa cup.

Honestly pal you are living in a fucking dream world if you think that his performances have been to an acceptable standard.

You mention the fa cup games and are spot on, but I make that 2 appearances in 3 seasons where he has stood head and shoulders above the rest. QPR? A 5 yard pass? All told, its hardly the stuff of Maradona was it?

Whilst he is not scoring this year, I take less issue with that than his overall antics, theatrics, tantrums and idiocy on the pitch in previous seasons.

So, this season he hasn't yet had a full blown row and shoving match with a team mate, hasn't been sent off, so that's an improvement. But what has that improvement yielded on the pitch? Fuck all, its removed a liability and replaced it with a player who is average at best. Is that really progress?

I understand where you are coming from wanting folk to support our players, and you will note from these threads on balo that I haven't even commented on the Mancini incident as I believe it's a media storm in a teacup - a non-issue, but what is an issue is that he doesn't deliver in any way shape or form.

Whilst that continues to be the case, and people keep excusing this because he is this great unfulfilled talent, I will keep pointing out that on the pitch, on the whole, during his city career, he has been total and utter wank, a liability, and far far less effective than a journeyman striker who does a 7/10 job week in week out.

Pointing that out, doesnt make someone any less of a fan, and I'm certainly not getting into puerile debates about whether a blinkered fool, or a critical realist is a better fan. We can agree to differ on that.

My guess is we will still be having this argument when he is 26 won't we?

He did have the best goals to minute ratio in our squad in our title winning season. Just thought I'd throw that in there.

We did actually lose 3-2, not 1-0.

We battered them with Mario, we battered them without Mario. We let 3 in, & that's why we lost.

mate we allowed a dodgy b4 a shite goalkeeper a 45min rest in the Derby, would Madrid allow Barca such an easy ride. For me anyway we have a stronger team and we should be at it every game and against the scum it is a given.

If Utd hadn't scored two absolutely shite goals 1st half due to fucking criminally half arsed, weak, defending, nobody would even have Mentioned Balotelli.

We were absolutely taking the piss out of them, passing, moving, running off the ball & totally outclassing them. Nobody was complaining at all, in fact everyone was loving it, & Balotelli was on the pitch right then.

Suddenly, they run forward, Vinny makes a fucking hopeless attempt, Nastasic stands and watches Rooney knock the ball in & Balotelli gets it in the neck. It's not right at all.

I may be completely wide of the mark here but I thought at the time that Mancini hooked Mario because he kicked Camelgob and nothing to do with his general performance. If you look at that backheel that Mario attempted there seemed to be no real effort to flick the ball through to Aguero, he seemed more intent on doing Camelgob. I may be wrong, it's just how it looked to me and then when I learned of the issues regarding Mario appealing his fine it made even more sense why Mancini snapped and hooked him.

Imo, Mancini has been sulking recently, probably because Balotelli contested that fine, & he, like some of the fans, takes it out on Mario.

You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.
