Thrilled for Swansea. I really hope they manage to keep it together in the return game, then anything can happen. Ivanovic must've wondered why he bothered waking up last morning though...
"I used to be 6 foot 2 with curly hair, look what it's done to me"

"In my career so far it's the most important goal. You score the goal in the last minute to win the title. You're not sure if that's ever going to happen in your career again. I wish I could tell you how I did it but I can't. I thought for all the world that Mario was going to have a go himself but he just moved it on one more and it fell at my feet and I just thought: 'Hit the target, hit it as hard as you can and hit the target.' And it went in."

Really glad to see Laudrup doing so well. One of my fave players as a kid.

Oh, but of course all of the success is entirely down to Rodgers and his ego, which is so large it has its own gravitational pull.

For me Laudrup has done a magnificent job so far at Swansea , he has "evolved" them into a quality premiership club ...... pretty solid at the back quick on the counter and pass the ball very well and how good is Michu,s left foot ! All on a low budget !
Not really here

Great to see a plucky underdog win against one of those nouveaux riche, sugar daddy lovin, horrible money clubs, haha.

Michu's finish was delicious, dunno what to say about Ivanovic. I've made some mistakes on a football pitch, but never two, such similar, cataclysmically godawful 'someone shoot me now (in fact let Torres have it)' moments as that. Lucky for him he isn't Colombian and it wasn't in the World Cup Finals, his whole family would be at risk.

Can't help think that Chelsea will win through though. And I wouldn't bet against a few dodgy reffing decisions to get them to Wembley.

But really can Bradford afford to go around playing in Europa League? or would they want to?

Their cup run has already paid for any European air fares - they had budgeted for a deficit this season (quite a hefty one) but expect to be in surplus by the end of it. (Unless they go crazy in this transfer window)

Nothing against Chelsea (as I don''t dislike them and thought it was good to see someone other than the rags, liverpool and arsenal winning things), but I'd love Swansea to win this trophy. A club that has an ethos of how it likes to do things and what type of football it likes to play. A manager with all the class in the world and a team that is good to watch. They have spent nothing like, erm, Pulis's team and yet they are on the verge of winning a trophy and play football that is from a different dimension to stoke's dead-ball dross. A win for Swansea is a win for football as far as I'm concerned.

Well said. But I have to say if its Bradford v Swansea final I may have to root for Bradford there. What an end to a great story it would be

My thoughts exactly ... although it'll be a great game to watch for neutrals ... win win whoever wins!

PS. Although if its Swansea who loses out in the final then I would have them lose now and let Chelsea lose to Bradford in the final :)

Totally agree, really nasty stuff. Whilst Swansea do play an attractive brand of football, I find it hard to like them. In fact, I find it hard to like most other teams.
