Sums it up pretty nicely and properly in few words.

I am VERY GLAD the Club go for the appeal and, upon review, of the fixture schedule, for once I disagree with Your concerns, in case it won't be overruled.

Lescott and Nasti will cope, comfortably, particularly if the team mates shall endevour to keep the games off our last 30 yards, same as per Your wise assessment of yesterday 2nd half... :-)

Provided none of those games are tight, & we score a few at the other end, there shouldn't be a problem. Very much doubt Lescott & Nasty are going to get through 3 games without making some serious howlers however, even if it's just offsides etc. Having never played together as a pair. Hope we don't have to defend a 1-0.

Went the game yesterday, superb day all round.

Great atmosphere by the City fans in the Drayton Arms prior to the game and at the match too. Particularly enjoyed the last 5-10 mins when we were chanting 'you're shit and you charge too much'.

As for the game, thought it was another good performance, controlled, professional and ruthless. Yep we could have added more goals but overall a 2-0 away win at Arsenal is never to be sniffed at regardless of the sending off.

Thought Milner and Barry were the stand-out performers.

Notable mentions to Garcia, Zabaleta and Dzeko. Everyone played their part though and a huge three points for us.

One sour note was the Police and Stewards confiscating several banners in the City end who were making clear their criticism of the £62 ticket prices.

I'm sure I wasnt the only one that was miffed when Edin stepped up to take that pen with accomplished penalty takers like Tevez, Milner and Barry in the starting line up. What the fuck was up with that?

Tevez is crap at penalties in my opinion. He got really lucky a few times last season.

He still scored a lot. Soon as Dzeko stepped up I thought uh oh...

Neither I do expect no howlers... :-)
But I am very curious, on the other hand, to see the 1st Team making a further step forwards towards "adversities".
You know better than me that what ultimately will make City a steady contenders for CL+EPL+FAC trebles will be the reach of the point when 16 players might be picked, by whatsoever clueless manager, without affecting the odds of any game ahead.

Out of flight of fancy, I think that given the form shown steadily enough on recent games, getting out from the Vinnie absence with 9 pts. will be just matter of keeping the focus.... and, maybe, staying away from Twattemburg... :-)

question for the older, longer serving, city fans:

does anybody remember a song sang by arsenal fans, back in the late seventies, on the melody of the sex pistol's Pretty Vacant?

it went something like this: We're so pretty, we hate man city, we're violent and we go spare?
