Other than being one of the top 10 of all time in the PL for goals/minute and off the top of my head; the winning goal vs Everton @ home when we couldn't get a breakthrough, won the penalty and scored the last second penalty vs spuds which got us the win, and scored 2 vs sunderland @ home to get us a draw. All of which we needed to win the league.
I stand by my comment that what you stated was probably the dumbest/most ignorant quote of the past 2.5 season on here. Actually, your post above mine might just challenge your earlier statement. Just come out and say that you hate the lad regardless of how he really performs.
He came off the bench vs Everton and scored with a deflection. It was exactly what we needed rather then the endless passing which wasn't working, but the fact he started from the bench says a lot.
Scored a cracking penalty against Spurs before the ban started for the stamp on Parker's head earlier in the game. If that'd been spotted at the time, we'd have been down to 10 and who knows what would have happened.
I don't hate him. I've said somewhere on here that I love him for his penalties, scoring with his shoulder, even the off the pitch stuff. But he doesn't fit into our side. Whether that's him, Mancini, the way we play, his reputation or something else, I don't know and I don't care. We're a better team when he doesn't play and that's all that matters.
