May I suggest something quite revolutionary now that Mancini has said he's staying....that everyone maybe tries to get behind him and give him the best chance of success.

Some of you I'm sure (Douglas, Arjan etc) will never like him as something about him is not to your taste. I feel the same way about Edin who lots of you do like.

Nowt to be gained in getting on his back and lots to lose

true ant, not so much that i just don't like him, more that i think his replacement would offer more overall.

but despite the hysteria of some, he always gets my (and most people's) support when you're at the match watching the game, as i think even us "haters" would like nothing more than to proved spectacularly wrong.

balo and edin to shoot us to the double. there. i said it :)

I have a 15yr old Loves Balo thinks he will be class, I think differently,I want him to just do his job and work his bollocks off for City. If he starts today I want him to score loads and the thugs of SCFC to be run ragged, Lets see what happens I have just said to my Lad as he leaves for the game.

I think it's difficult to argue against the point that, had we spent the Balotelli money on a proven player, we would have a better squad. But I do still think Balotelli could become the player Mancini sees. If he does become that player, then it has all been worthwhile.

The trouble is that it's difficult to justify having him at the club unless he shows it, & that surely has to be this season. I recon some serious squad pruning is on the horizon & I don't see how Balotelli can escape that unless he contributes much more.

If we do nothing & just let him continue as a bit part player, we could end up with him strolling through his contract & leaving for F all. We have to get value out of him one way or the other.

Not in squad for today. Any sign of an injury or illness?

On bench, I meant. I assume he travelled unless there was a problem. He was on training yesterday, so did anything happen Doug that you can now tell us about?

Milan have offered Kevin Prince Boateng + 13 million for Mario's services.
Deal could be done by end of window.
