Riise's arm (I think it was Riise?) was in an unnatural position and the ball just hit it - that is Clusterfuck's reason for not giving a penalty. Very strange reasoning considering he clearly moved his arm to the ball. I'm not complaining though.

Commentators and pundits all focusing on why the rags didn't get a second penalty and no mention of the fulham one that clattenburg just turned his back on.

Also banging on that it was 45 mins of an onslought.

Just mentioned a stat on TV that I heard on Talkshite earlier - Chelsea is undefeated in its last 24 FA Cup games.

So because they lost on penalties in 2011, it doesn't count? Can we ignore last year as it was due to an unfair sending off?

Well done to Brentford and Uwe. To get a result against a team like Chelsea is no mean feat.

They could still be drawn against us.

On 93 mins 30 secs, Ashley Cole barges into the back of a Brentford player at the halfway line, giving Brentford a free kick which results in their cf volleying the ball over the bar with about 2 secs to go.

That's an England international, multi title, cup, Champions League winner.

Some of these cunts are just thick as shit, no matter how many games they play & lucky to have the natural talent to play at the top .

Well done Brentford.

Still remember us playing Leeds in an FA Cup game at Maine Rd when they were in CL and we were down the leagues. Seems odd (and funny) seeing them struggling to get back up.

I'll take Leeds at home in the draw later.

I remember one particular FA Cup game against Leeds in the 66/67 season, our first one back in the old First Division after being promoted.

We were struggling in the League and were in danger of going straight back down and our playing style had been a defensive one to try and keep it tight at the back, scavenging points wherever we could.

We were drawn away to Leeds and everyone expected it to be a walk-over for Revie's side, with City merely trying to do a damage limitation job. However, we came out and attacked Leeds from the kick-off and for most of the game we swarmed all over them, playing some terrific football. Eventually, Leeds scored and they luckily ran out winners 1-0 but, thereafter in the League we continued to play in the same, all-out-attacking way and we pulled out of trouble.

The following season, we continued this attacking approach and the rest, as they say, is history.

All in all, it was a very good game and City's play was a revelation that day.
