Sky Sports News is now claiming that Juventus are in talks with us to sign Mario Balotelli and could be set to hijack Milan's move to sign him.

But Sky Sports Italia say there is no evidence at that Juventus are really in for Mario.

A Trixki strategy to get Milan to agree to City's terms perhaps?

Damn i'm gutted, was really hoping he would be a legend for us. Sorry Balo that the english press never gave you a chance and let you just play football. Thanks for the pass to Aguero and never missing a penalty.

Just reported on the BBC that we're talking to both Milan and Juventus but won't sell him for a fee too far south of what we want.

Brennan again tweeting on the subject reckons City have rejected Milan bid and now speaking with Juventus. He added that City will only sell for asking price as they never actively put him up for sale.

Agree with the last sentiment but have to take issue with your angle on why he's not progressed more while he's been here. I've no idea why he's not, just that it's got nothing to with newspapers. I, and most city fans, and Mancini certainly, have given him many, many chances to 'just play football' ( I have not read a newspaper in 5 years, and if Mario & Mancini do i'd be amazed.) He simply hasn't performed on the pitch consistently enough, his penalties, his pass to Aguero, and his brace in the 6-1 raping, are not enough to compensate for his laziness, sulky attitude & lack of teamwork ethic.
There's your job, how well you do it, and how it's reported to the world. For any footballer, and almost everyone really, the first two are the only things you are in complete control of. If you do well, you can influence how the world sees it, a bit. But you really shouldn't care about such things, and the cream of the crop (messi, silva, etc.) are rarely playboys or front page whores nowadays.
City have soul. United do not.

Sky italia just report that the ENGLISH Bookies and tabloids have it as a very probable deal. No concrete evidence other than usual bollox heard many and many times. Gianluca Di marzio is the Italian translation of a tabloid reporter, w/o any insight at Buckingham Palace.
If it wasn't for the fact that Berluskoni is desperate for a trick to rise his percentage on the election polls, I'd be fairly sure that it's bollox, yet again.

Aside, what amazes most is that phips and the likes are seriously convinced that a character like Mario, which properly handled at a big Club sells millions pounds of kits even without starting a game or scoring a goal, cannot find a purchaser for proper money.

whatsoever it shall end up, IF we don't make a decent capital gain on the sale, and risk to bottle the trophies at stakes, we are proper cunts. I do not think so.

Mancio, how many fans buy a Man City shirt, who wouldn't if it wasn't for Balotelli? I doubt its all that many.
It would have to be a hell of an amount to cover £170,000 per week.

Mate, You miss my point. or, better, actually I am too shite to make it properly.
I am not saying that City need mario to sell shirts. nor I ever advocated for him to stay, before and after he was bought in a very gamble of mancini.
What I do say is that to claim that we cannot get more than euro 20 mils (latest reported official bid from AC Milan, yet confirmed on tonight Gazzeta dello sport web-bollox) is ridicolous. The likes of PSG, to say one Club that is emerging, publicity greed and wealth enough, would be glad to come at Eastlands and carry him home on their shoulders.
right?... :-)

trust this explain what I mean also to phips... :-)

sorry i have a hard time deciphering just what you are outputting from your keyboard.

I still stand by my view that there's no way we get ~25m euros for him. I think the highest we get is 20m euros. Why would anyone pay higher? Thats my question to you. What incentive do they have? He has been horrible when he's made it on the pitch for us this season and he's hardly played. His value is at an all time low. It's kinda the same as Loic Remy. Last summer he commanded a huge transfer fee but now he goes to QPR for dirt cheap. Sure, Balo may have been worth more last season when he was actually scoring goals and playing but not now. You say our higher ups aren't cunts and won't take a low price, but i say they will because they're smart and have an eye on the FFP. There's no point holding out for a higher fee that may or may not come.
I'm not really a City fan. I'm just here for attention.
