He is Italy's current number 9, he is one of the most marketable names in football, 2 and a half years left on his contract, we never put him up for sale and he has a good scoring record with us, around 30 in 80 from the left wing.

We should be getting back what we paid for him, at least our board appears to understand this.

Get your head out of your arse instead Sir.
Three goals all season, a huge slice of the wage bill, and an utter pain in the arse who has cost us as many games as he has won for us. And he hasn't done a right lot for Italy yet.
It's all about how you view it. Ultimately he is worth how much anybody else is willing to pay, and he represents one hell of a gamble for any club.
From our point of view, for that fee and those wages we could have somebody who contributes like Van Pissflap does for the shite.

That would be the ideal outcome, however quite unlikely, there hasn't been much about cavani recently.

This is ac milan we are talking about. a club run by a slippery eel that probably takes two months to settle its bill for the half time oranges. 48hrs to secure a high profile player and 48hrs for the selling club to acquire the replacement?...what a joke....cant the press not dwell on the real issue of the day ie liverpools messiah rodgers and how they are "BACK?"

I think that if Milan/Juve cough up the money, he'll be gone in a flash whether we have a replacement or not (he doesn't play anymore, so we are technically not replacing anything), if not, he will be gone in the summer.

The only way I can see him surviving til next season is if he suddenly turns in spectacular performances, but barring injuries, I don't think he will get many opportunities to do it. I get the impression Bob is doing like he did in the run in last season, & picking his strongest 12/13 wherever possible. Mario isn't in it.

If Bob really wants to keep him though, he will suddenly start playing him, to make a point. I don't think he wants to.

I still stand by my view that there's no way we get ~25m euros for him. I think the highest we get is 20m euros. Why would anyone pay higher? Thats my question to you. What incentive do they have? He has been horrible when he's made it on the pitch for us this season and he's hardly played. His value is at an all time low. It's kinda the same as Loic Remy. Last summer he commanded a huge transfer fee but now he goes to QPR for dirt cheap. Sure, Balo may have been worth more last season when he was actually scoring goals and playing but not now. You say our higher ups aren't cunts and won't take a low price, but i say they will because they're smart and have an eye on the FFP. There's no point holding out for a higher fee that may or may not come.

Do You really think that I can give half a shit on what level Your IQ stands?

No idea where this hostility is coming from. Do I not have the right to disagree with you? Or is your opinion now irrefutable fact?
I disagree with your statement that City can get over 20m euros for Balo. Get over it. That doesn't make me the "californian moron". People are allowed to disagree..its what keeps this forum active. Learn to discuss things like an adult human being.

In fact, I am prepared to give my own life to stand for Your right to disagree.
What oppose with hostility is what is definitely implied in the line I did highlight.

5 points behind. Mario is just a luxury we can't afford.

We need the Barry's and milners, playing with much less ability but 1000x the heart.

I agree with that. As I've mentioned before, the key is watching Mario's agent Raiola and unlike previous periods of rumours and unrest, I at least don't think he's categorically stated that Balotelli will be staying. Something's up, that's for sure.

As for Mario? Never seen a player like him at City ever (good and bad), someone mentioned he has character, indeed he does. Character enough for 25m? Doubt it. I'll leave it to the boys in charge, they get paid for it.

thanks for the sympathy, mate.
I am just a cunt who talks the same shite as anyone else: if I was any better I would have possibly been offered a job by the Club.
Possibly I am even more of a cunt, if You consider that my best Mancunian pal, who I count the weeks which separate me from the next opportunity to take a plane and spend a day talking to, is currently keeping a sort of Jainist silence with me, in order to refrain from uttering words which "he might or might not regret".

I took my slice of time to fully get completely through the deep pleasure of mind which You can take from debating, amusing, joking, winding up with resident fellow mates on here.
Since then, I welcome any joke, amusement, piss taking or even abuse, resulting in good fun and a final laugh.

What I'll never welcome is the die hard attitude of a couple of otherwise smart blokes, who seem to have given themselves the mission to let me exactly understand what a "Negro" should have been feeling by living in the Confederate Sovereign State of Mississipi during the fifties of previous century.

I think he's very close to going. I'd be interested to see if KPB was a pawn in the deal in that Milan offered us Boateng who we'd then punt off to Napoli in exchange for cash for Cavani.

Can we do that?

They are absolutely, 100% talking to Milan about selling Mario.

That doesn't mean he will go though, because we don't have to sell him. For once, we are actually the ones who can just sit around & wait for the right offer, rather than the ones doing the begging.

Think you're bang on there. The team have got themselves playing as they should and more importantly for each other. The last thing RM needs is Balo in there fulking up the balance and spirit. Besides which, if he wanted to play him, who would he drop? If he puts him in for any of the three candidates, they are (IMO rightly) going to be mightily pissed off, whereas at the moment they are all giving 110%. If RM proves me wrong I'll be mightily pissed off.
